I think that the harpoon gun should reel survivors in while you get closer to them rather then you having to get close to them to hit them , or make an add on that lets you reel them in

...You do realize that it already does this, right?
Hold the same button you aim-down-sights with after successfully spearing a survivor and Deathslinger will reel them towards himself. If you walk backward while reeling, it will pull them in faster. There are also add-ons that increase this reeling speed, or increase the amount of time a survivor needs to break free.
