How does Demogorgon get blinded by a Flashlight?

The boi has no eyes. Imagine if licensed character got frosty eyes, how would it work on Demo?

    I think the devs said he is a light sensitive creature, and the Entity does this justice by giving Demo invisible eyes to blind.

    And also demo can smell blood even from another dimension but we dont know where is an injured surv in all moments
