it take more time to search a chest, then the time reduction of a toolbox

i use https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Toolboxes for reference of the time of the toolbox.

it take 11 sec to search a chest(10 +1 sec to actually loot it).

but, the best toolbox in the game for repairing gen is Commodious Toolbox giving a reduction of 10,67 sec.

so i must ask, do you not require your lead designer to actually know basic mathematics?

or is that on purpose? you want chest to be a time trap for survivor?


from my point of view it really look like someone with too much power got frustrated after losing too many game and decide to Nerf something without even thinking properly about it.

i must admit that toolbox were a bit too powerful before, but this is ridiculous and i just proove it.

    Well, yeah, Toolboxes are crippled now. The best thing you can hope for is an Alexs Toolbox, but even then it is highly unlikely that you get some Sabo-Plays off because the Hooks are not far away from each other.

    So, as long as you are not injured and hoping for a Medkit, there is no reason to search Chests anymore. Just stick on Gens.
