Skill ceilings

Every time I visit the forums, there is endless bitching and moaning about the "low skill ceiling" of certain killers and perks.

Now, BHVR, hear me out. Why dont you release another S tier killer with a more complicated or harder to grasp power, to raise said skill ceiling. Why not add S tier perks that require skill to use instead of rewarding failure like NOED and DS.

Whats wrong with a complicated character that requires a lot of mechanical skill to play efficiently? Why just add simple and easy to understand, but increasingly poor/mediocre killers?

    Her name is Sally.

And she's been nerfed to the ground. They've made it quite clear they never want another Nurse situation like they've had for 3 years.

Freddy, Doctor, Ghostface have a lower skill ceiling than she does and they get equal kills as she does now with little to no effort.

Survivors will start DC'ing, complaining, DC'ing more and open continuous topics on the forums about the killer.

    It's happened before.

  • I mean they already have that in Nurse. The problem with characters like that is it's hard to make them both rewarding enough to be worth learning but fair enough to not break the game with their power. A difficult balance to hit.

  • They don't make a killer good, we do

What wrong is that they are hard to balance, look a nurse.

Also it debatable if it fun for a killer to put that much effort on a single characther when survivor can win easily by holding M1 half the game.
