Changes For Survivors

These are just some ideas some guys and I came up with to make it fair for survivors and killers alike in a match to make the game more fun , and less frustrating. Disclaimer: I’m not some baby at this game , I know how to play and pretty well too and these are just my opinions

  • one new slot after the first prestige for a character: after you prestige for the first time, you can only get one extra slot for that character once *killer and survivors*
  • Fix the hit box issue : it’s a big problem that hasn’t been fixed and it does happen frequently that the killer would either throw something at you or swing beside you and hit something else, and you would go down
  • pallet drop fix: there is a bug in the mechanic where I would have to double press the command for it to work or it would work after the killer hit me
  • remove the struggling and replace it with non-self escape chance: this is a stretch, but sometimes things happen to the controller where they disconnect randomly , so I’m thinking the second hook phase can just be the survivor struggling without the player having to press the command and wait for other survivors to unhook them
  • boost the speed of the wiggling feature by 10% : now that there are more hooks that are closer to each other , boost the wiggling speed to make it a little easier for survivors to have a chance
  • create more maps with a more ominous feeling and aesthetic : this game is based off of death, horror, and darkness, so why not make more stages that really put that into effect, imo I feel that the stages lack that. So maybe the month in between the trailer months , give us 2 new maps that are hella scary that aren’t based off of any characters but instead off a horror trope
  • fix the pallet:hook ratio: there are less pallets, but more hooks , survivors deserve equal fair play to the killers. I don’t think that there should be too many of one over the other , but every gen should have two hooks near it and 2 - 3 pallets
  • decrease the time of the exhausted, broken, and other defects caused by a survivors’ perks decreased by 10 secs: survivors’ perks such as sprint burst, deliverance, and other perks in that category are very useful perks but have negative effects in the end that give quite a big advantage to killers over survivors , so I think if we decrease the time of the defects of the perks by just 10 secs it would be a little easier for survivors , but not too easy to make it too hard for the killer.
  • fix the killer and survivor speed “inbalance” , with some characters move faster than others on both ends: killers are too fast , even with sprint burst and other speed boost based perks, so I think if killers are slowed down a little and survivors had their running speed boosted a little it would balance out. I like how for the killers, a player can know how fast they run, give that feature to survivors as well. I think Meg would be one of the fastest survivors. (Sprint Burst could act as a survivors “bloodlust”)
  • fix the ranking system (colors with their own colors) - if there are survivors with different colored ranks, the killer should be a rank where it won’t be too hard or too easy for survivors and for the killer because too many new players are being matched with experienced players and are losing , bad.
  • decisive strike: this is another stretch , but I feel that after being hooked once, the perk should just stay active until being hooked again and can only be used once a match. If not used for second hook it is saved for the death hook

These are just my opinions and suggestions that I think would make the game a little easier for the survivors and improve the experience of the game

    • Prestige shouldn't give a gameplay advantage .... except Claudette being Claudette i suppose.
    • Because latency babyyy
    • That's a first... and the 2nd is because, well latency
    • Understandable and should be a tihng
    • No, you shouldn't wiggle out by yourself UNLESS you're getting really really far away. You need the help of your teammates.
    • Ye
    • You can't really compare hooks to pallets.
    • Why? As you said they do provide a swing in the game. Their negative effect lasts so long because they are powerfull perks.
    • What? All survivors move the same, while some killers move slower because of their powers. And ... if you wanted to buff survivors ms and nerf killers it would seriously be more of an imbalanced than before.
    • They're working on hidden mmr system
    • It is a stretch. If so it should disable when someone else is hooked. This would just become DS 1.0... just you have to get hooked first.
  • These are really good and fun one sided changes in favor of survivors Lmao. They would probably make the game the same if not more broken as it was after launch.
