When you want to buy a Character... and you have 8999 Shards :(
A friend of mine has send me this screenshot. She wanted to buy Zarina, but she was only ONE shard short. It was really frustrating for her to wait for her player level to tier up again. And it's not the first time that it happened to her.
I think there are more people out there, who played DBD when you got shards (up to 10) after every match and now have some odd number of shards like here. They can't do anything with them, because all the stuff in the Shop or the Shrine require an even amount of Shards (f.e. 2000, 4500, 7200 etc). The smallest digit you can get with leveling up is 5 (f.e. when you get 195 Shards between Lvl 15 and 24).
So why do not give those players the opportunity to convert 1-4 Shards (because that's all that is needed) into BP a single time?
Let me do the maths really quick: If you buy a perk you already have (and if it's old), you get 150k BP for 2k Shards. That's 75 BP per Shard (=300 BP max for all 4 Shards). I know it's not much, but it's more than nothing.
