A major survivor frustration and how to possible fix it.
As someone who has played a significant amount of survivor then killer (though im starting to play killer alot more) one thing that has always bothered me is in relation to your items and bad games.
When I say 'bad games' I dont mean a game where the killer does well and kills everyone, but where the killer puts someone in the basement and then camps it all game, or where other survivors troll around, or a myriad of other non 'you didnt do as well as the killer, who played well' games.
For me the biggest frustration come from items addons and the blood web.
My invintory for my main survivor is chocked full of multiples of items that I do not want and dont want to use. Instructions for the tool boxes for example, I am good at skill checks and find them to be useless, or any map item. Its not that they shouldnt be in the game every one has its use and players with other playstyles absolutely want them, its just that they tend to show up so often and not get used. Along side that is when you have items you like, they tend to go away real quick.
This leads to a situation where you go into a bad game with a good item and addon and never even get to use it for whatever the reason might be.
What I'm proposing is to give survivors (and even killers) an option that is an alternate to the hand offerings. Let the players spend the blood that they earn in a match at the end of it, to salvage items they have lost. You inflate the cost to twice, maybe three times what it is on the blood web, because it isn't random. So you go into a match, do ok, earn lets say as a random number 20k blood points in the match, you have a purple item, it costs 15k going forward to keep that item, and each addon costs 10k (based on rarity lets say) so at the end I can go 'i liked this addon Ill keep it, and let the item and other addon go'
You have already delved far enoguh into the web to get the items you wanted, and unlock the skills you want, so your build is set up, this would allow you to keep the addons so you can keep using the build you enjoy. That being said if you have a bad game and dont earn enoguh blood points in the match you still lose it.
