Starting the game causes Ps4 to overheat.

I don't know if its just my luck but whenever I start up Dead By Daylight on Ps4 it heats up a lot, so much so that occasionally my Ps4 shuts down due to over heating. I have tried this with my friends Ps4 and it does the same thing. Though if i manage to get past the start up screen everything seems to go back to normal. I don't really know what the issue is but i have noticed that the graphics of the startup screen seem really high. My theory is that due to the high start up graphics, it stresses out the ps4 and causes it to shut down. I could be wrong but some answers would be nice.
