Rank Patch Possibilities - What would you like to see patched in the rank system?

What does a better ranking system look like for survivors and killers, alike? Have you had experiences where rank doesn't matter to you, since your resets happen every month and your skill never really does that quickly: which leads to you murdering and looping people in the 20-15 ranks? Do you wish your rank was more eternal? Do you get queued up with inappropriate ranks? Rant and brainstorm here for the sake of your Entity-bonded, survivor and killer brethren!

  • They def need to increase the amount of ranks, or stretch out the skill level in each rank to more properly place people where they belong. At the moment its too easy to rank up, so rank 1 contains both mediocre players who play a lot, and the actual very skilled players who deserve it. The umbrella over rank 1 is too large. Because of this there aren't enough properly low ranked survivors to be matched against the mid/low ranked killers, so basically all killers have to get matched up against completely random skill levels. You never know if you are going up against someone around your own skill level, or some godmode tryhard SWF group.

I would really like to see the ranks be stretched out a bit further, and the ranks should probably only (soft) reset every 2 months instead of 1.

Im almost rank 7 survivor now, even though i only escape about 20% of the time, and usually average a score of like 12,000-14,000. Im a pathetic survivor, yet im already in the top one third of the ranks? With no meta perks unlocked? With no knowledge of maps or pallet locations? The game hasn't demanded that i actually play well and learn in order to rank up.

  • People need to derank more every rank reset. Possibly back to 20 for everyone, and have every "season" last two months instead of just the one. That way, the super good players will get back to their beloved rank 1, and the rest will end up where they belong, instead of ranking up too easily and everyone being red ranks because they don't derank enough each month.
