Are there any plans to remove EAC from the game?
I used to be one of those players who would play hours upon hours every day, Recently i have had interest in other games so i haven't been playing much.
Usually once or twice a week i will get on for an hour just to play, Or atleast i try. You see, EAC keeps hanging over my shoulders every damn time i try to open the game. "Could not verify integrity of game files" every time.
Today i downloaded the Deathslinger update, and guess what happened right after downloading and running the game... "couldn't verify integrity of game files" what a surprise. Now i have to download the entire update again on my already slow internet :/
So....
Are there any plans to remove/replace EAC from the game?

Also your problem is far from being usual. Maybe something is wrong with your ROM/RAM and data gets corrupted as it's written on your PC?
Have you tried reinstalling the game?
If it is not usual, it is not uncommon either.
Many of us have this issue. And this only concerns DBD. Systematically after each update.
Clarification: yes, checking the integrity of the files and reinstalling works. But the problem will still be present next big update. It's systematic.
If you are on pc you can so some steps to repair eac itself and even remove it so when you relaunch the game it should reinstall. I would try the below first to repair it rather than download the DLC or the game.

Dead by daylight is the only EAC game that has this issue. Only dead by daylight.
