Surge (like many perks) has way too many conditions to activate.

This has the potential to be a great perk, but it just suffers from so many conditionals and not just the ones listed in the perk description. You have to be within 32m of a gen. You have to down a survivor. It has to be a basic attack. It doesn't work during the long cooldown. If you're on a giant map where gens are half a mile away from each other, this perk is ineffective. Likewise, on a small map this perk is amazing. But after all that, the regression is only a measly 8%. PLEASE MAKE SOMETHING HERE CONSISTENT.

We all know map size is a huge problem right now, made glaringly obvious with the Ruin nerf. However, since that is not an easy fix and reworking maps takes time, something else should be done.

This perk would be great if they just made it work with all attack types (including grabs, similar to infectious fright) and it would be consistent across all killers and just be more consistent and useful in general.

P.S. Why the f*ck doesn't Thrilling Tremors (and the upcoming gen blocking perk) allow generator regression while blocked? It only lasts 16 seconds. The fact that it doesn't is misleading, stupid, and unnecessarily hurts the killer running this perk. It even has f*cking counterplay- just f*cking get back on the gen before it activates if you know they have it.

  • If you are on your first hook and every other survivor is on death hook while the killer nods three times at any point during the match, all incomplete generators explode and regress to zero while you restore all other survivors hook states at the cost of losing your struggle phase.

On top of that you must run at least 45 seconds during the match while all other survivors must spend a minute combined crouching.
