So since ace in the hole, will allow us to keep addons from the match....

I have two simple questions :

the first being, will the syringe/styptic still erase medkits? or will it simply black out the medkit from further use, keeping the item. imo it should work like brand new part, but thats just me.

And second will we ever get a killer equivalent? i mean it is a whole perk slot for a survivor to take up (potentially limiting their abilites in the match at the expense of finding an item with good addons/retaining it. but the same could be said for killers. Your at that point taking 3 perks, to retain your addons if you win,

Same with killers and finding addons mid match. a killer doesn't need the ability to find an item (as thats a survivor sided game feature) but having the ability to earn and retain addons mid-match of a rare and below rarity would be very nice. If killers kill more then two survivors/they should secure addons with X perk.

My suggestion is that breaking a chest would grant an addon if the killer doesn't have one? gives killers a purpose for chests, and allows new killers/unleveld ones to play with addons.

    Why would i waste time looking for a chest to break that would make matches boring killers would farm free add ons as well making the bloodweb useless

    I doubt it would ever happens. First, survivors can die which makes them lose item and addons, while killers don't. Second, generally speaking killer addons are way more powerful than survivors' ones, (whose strongest ones are one use and than disappear anyway), and people would use an "Ace in the hole" perk to keep their strongest ones like Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt. Not healthy at all.

    Its not about wasting time. if you come across a chest, do a 1s stomp action to remove the survivor being able to use it and be granted an addon if you have none. Gives chests a purpose for killer and something to do ambiently if you either can't find anyone, or if the game is ending.

    I never said anything about keeping the addon's brought in - thats what a black ward is for

    just keeping addons on the way out found in a match.

    Like i said the problem would be killers gonna farm add obs ignoring survivors and go for chests it encourages boring gameplay
