How to fix hex perks

So...i've heard many people complaining about hex perks that they are getting destroyed too fast, and that's true, but one way of fixing it is just adding a secondary effect, even if the totem got broken, similar to Thrill Of The Hunt. And here are some examples:
Ruin: once the totem is broken for the next 40/50/60 seconds you repair generators slower
Devour hope: if you hooked people 2/3/5 times you either move faster, instadown people, mori people for the same time as the ruin, maybe a bit less
Lullaby: Once the totem is broken for the next several seconds survivors do not hear the skill check warning
Numbers can be changed, but i think this is one way of buffing the hex perks

  • Or just change the spawning. Or make hex totems cleansing longer. Or make the effects of hexes stronger (yeah i know crazy)

  • I don't think much has to be done to hex perks. I think simply making it to where you are aware of someone trying to break your hex is enough. I'm not really sure why it's TOTH thing. Making it take longer to break would be nice as well. They are special after all.

The thing is even if the totems would spawn at the edge of the map, it would still be found easily and also high rank survivors, for the most part, know where the spawn, after i don't know...a day or so of playing you know where the spawning spots are

Hexes are in weird place aren't they? (sometimes) Strong yet hard to keep around :/

  • It doesn't matter where they spawn if you know the maps you can find them and most times I only find them early on or my friends do because the killer will go directly to the hex area at the start of the match to check on the totem. So it's pretty obvious where to check for hex totems when killers go into random areas at the start of the game, especially if there's no gen near. Besides, hex perks aren't guaranteed to last going into a game you should know that. I always find it funny when killers camp hex ruin totems so we can just repair the hex gens instead while the killers camp.
