Why don't DCs count to completing challenges?
If survivors DC, the killer should get completion for killing/sacrificing challenges.

Easily abused. The killers and survivors could just agree to all DC on each other for easy completions.
The devs seem to be terrified of making DCs count toward anything that isn’t bloodpoints. They don’t even count towards some of your Emblem points anymore.
Who cares? They complete one challenge faster if they do that.
