About rift progress

On the dev stream, BHVR stated that the rift progress was too slow during tome 1, and that they wanted to adjust that for tome 2. They mentioned that they wanted the rift to sync with the tome in terms of completion. However, when adressing changes in Tome 2 I couldn't catch what they had changed in terms of rift progress. Did they up the amount of XP gained per match or did they increasse rift fragments gained per challenge?

    They increased the number of Challenges and they will be easier (sadly, I was up for a Challenge).

    So more Challenges = more Rift Fragments via the Archives.
