Object of Obsession | Change
Prologue
Object of Obsession is a perk many players find confusing and frustrating because at its core, the perk has too much going on.
SWF groups, specifically the upper tiers, will use this perk to give everyone information on the killer.
Solo survivors, find themselves having a hard time using it and sometimes the killer takes them out first — the killer thinks they are in a SWF group.
I think Object of Obsession should stay relatively the same while removing the "frustrating" part of the perk.
Object of Obsession
A supernatural bond links you to the killer.
If you're the Obsession, this perk can be active for 40/50/60 seconds. Otherwise, this perk can be active for 30 seconds.
The active timer will pause when you're not looking in the killer's direction when they are further than 48 meters to you. Otherwise, the active timer will continue to expire.
As long as there is time remaining, when the killer is further than 48 meters to you, get notified when you are looking directly in the killer's direction and see the distance in meters between both of you.
Once the active timer expires, your aura is revealed to the killer.
If you're not the Obsession, when the killer sacrifices a survivor, receive 30 seconds on your active timer.
Increases your chances of becoming the killer's Obsession.
The killer can only be Obsessed with one survivor at a time.

Epilogue
What do you think, would this solve the problem players see with Object of Obsession? Will this perk be more pleasing to players while removing the "frustrating" part about it?
