Self care was at least still very useful after it's rework. Ruin....not even remotely useful.
and yet the no heal meta started with it, ruin can work if they get rid of showing the hex effect as soon as you get on a gen and if you pair it with surveilance you can keep a lot of pressure tho(if those two combo that is)
Ruin will only work now if they make it not a hex. All you need to do is start a gen and then stop for a second to tell if they have ruin so a notification or not will not make a difference. It does nothing early game and totems don't last past early game. It's honestly been useless in the 6 matches I've played so far

No it didn't. Self care can be used over and over, never removed, and the core functionality stayed the same. Ruin was gutten, made nearly useless, and is STILL a hex totem.
Let me know when Self care becomes a hex totem, then you're allowed to make that comparison.
