Borrowed time tech

Recently a new tactic was given light by a youtuber Aaronplays, in his video he demonstrates what he describes as a BT Tech, or borrowed time tech. What you do is before the killer hooks a survivor you position yourself under the hook as the killer is placing the survivor that is on their shoulders unto the hook. From there, the survivor under the hook positions themselves so that if the killer tries to swing at them it hits the survivor on the hook, furthermore, once the killer hits the hooked survivor, you are given a split second window as the killer recovers from the hit and unhook the survivor. The unhooked survivor now has the bt effect and can survive a single hit. My question is, is this an exploit, or is it not. Having the killer hit the survivor on the hook is not a guarantee, the survivor under the hook can still get hit which is why I created this discussion. Please let me know your thoughts @Peanits.

Sincerely,

A DBD Survivor.

  • Not really an exploit, but also not that useful. If the Killer swings, sure, it works. But with camping, there are two people not on Gens, most likely even more, because others try to rescue as well...
