Idea for reworking most hex perks

For anyone who's played killer, we all know the frustration of having a hex totem destroyed within the first few minutes of a match. It can easily result in a practically wasted perk slot. I think a fair change that can help at least slightly offset this issue is to not have hex totems light up until they first take affect. Under this proposed change, the killer would also receive a visual and/or audio cue of the newly lit hex totem (such as a yellow aura on the totem for five seconds).

This would mean the first skill check for Ruin; the first failed skill check for Huntress Lullaby; the first survivor hit with The Third Seal; and the second token for Devour Hope would be the trigger points for each correlating hex perk. The change would be almost negligible for Ruin and Lullaby, but could give the killer a much better chance of having perk usefulness with Third Seal and Devour Hope.

Any hex totem not listed here would not be affected by this proposed rework. I recognize this can also be a negative feature to a build centered around Thrill of the Hunt, so that is something to consider.
