Is the clown worth it?

I am seeing lots of popularity with the clown. Perks are good. Killer look good yet simple to understand. Is he worth the 9000 iridescent shards? Cause I got a grind to do if he is.

    Yes he is worth it.

    You get shards by just playing the game. If playing the game feels like a grind for you, then I suggest to search for another game.
    And yes, paying 9k for a new killer is definitely worth it, some outfits cost almost 20k.....

    For me he's better than huntress due to hitbox of the hatchets, lower movement speed. He stops loops by catching up to the survivor during the lop, you cant just duck to avoid the gas like you can a hatchet or bait a hatchet throw. Clown handles loops better. Not better than nurse of course. Huntresses still gets looped pretty hard, her directional hum doesnt help as that makes her easier to avoid.

    Huntress is more vulnurable to loops than any other Killer, her hatchets are easily avoided by merely pressing crouch even in waist high loops.

    If Huntress cant properly use her hatchets she is a Killer with no tool and 110% speed.

    If Clown runs out he still has base 115% speed and can reload during mindgames without losing survivors.

    In my Opinion Huntress isn’t That Good since dodging her Hatchets is pretty Easy and once she’s out of hatchets she’s pretty much screwed
    The Clown however can Manipulate Survivors by forcing them to run into a certain Direction, when you cut a direction off by throwing a Bottle, if they don’t want that Sweet Sweet Slowdown. He is pretty Useful and totally Worth the 9K 
    btw He is pretty Happy when he gets stunned and everything, just like DA DOCKTAH!!!!
