Another GrootDude advice thread: How to utilize OoO
(This is mostly for solo players since I typically play solo but it works in swf too)
We all know that the status effects undetectable and oblivious came out not too long ago and these both affect OoO in a way, I’ll start with undetectable: Although you can’t see the killers aura while they’re affected by this status effect, you can see the direction they’re in so a killer like Ghostface, piggy or Wraith can’t mind game you nearly as easily if you keep OoO facing their direction. You’ll always have tabs on their location while they’re undetectable.
Now, onto oblivious: Oblivious is your best friend while using OoO because the killers terror radius is zero however, they’re affected by aura perks still. With this knowledge, you can loop tall wall loops without getting mind gamed.
Now for some general tips: Always pay attention to what killer you get and be careful if it is a stealth killer, without spine chill you can still be snuck up on so make sure to pay attention for them. If you’re close to finishing a gen then look away from the killer but generally you want to look at the killer since OoO is a “chase me” perk.
Things to expect while using OoO: Sometimes whenever you load into a match and look at the killer, the killer will sometimes “escape”, occasionally you’ll get face camped and sometimes killers refuse to chase you.
How to use OoO in swf: Here is where OoO becomes kinda over powered, while in swf, watch the killer and occasionally tell your team what he is up too. (This is of course if you’re playing swf seriously, I always just joke with friends XD)
Blindness is your bane: You need to learn how to survive without essentially wall hacking killers while you’re oblivious because blindness perks/add ons do exist so always watch the killer if possible.

Another way to use OoO that I forgot to include are avoiding hag/Trapper traps, it doesn’t hard counter hag but it’ll make her life a lot harder.
