Yeah, like @Sairek said, it's a bug.
What do you mean by a problem with it? Like are you saying you can't wiggle at all, or you can't escape even when the wiggle bar is full, or is it just that you keep getting hooked before you wiggle out?
Because the first two are bug-related, the third is an intended game feature.
