Not sure a BP bonus could get me to play killer right now. I kept having very unfun matches tonight, and was confused about why until my friend reminded me tomorrow's Thanksgiving so tonight's basically a holiday. In my region, that means everyone's playing survivor and chasing killers away with their unpleasant playstyles and eagerness to DC.
Though, I don't know what region you are, so maybe it has nothing to do with that. It could be the new Archive challenges causing people to play more survivor than killer. Or maybe the killers are bored and waiting for Oni to come out, at which point there will probably be a surplus of killer players for at least a few days.
