I've seen some good concepts for Slender. Hits me right in the horror nostalgia feels everytime I see him. I remember being on my grandma's computer in the basement and being scared out of my mind, horror was truly simpler back then, relying a lot less on jumpscares and well made tension. I wouldn't be against his inclusion, and maybe DBD could do him justice after that god awful movie.
Apparently some guy (supposedly the creator) copyrighted him and does own him now.
A few years ago he was part of the public domain though
You are correct. According to wikipedia
"Despite his folkloric qualities, the Slender Man is not in the public domain. Several for-profit ventures involving the Slender Man have unequivocally acknowledged Knudsen as the creator of this fictional character, while others were civilly blocked from distribution (including the Kickstarter-funded film) after legal complaints from Knudsen and other sources. Though Knudsen himself has given his personal blessing to a number of Slender Man-related projects, the issue is complicated by the fact that, while he is the character's creator, a third party holds the options to any adaptations into other media, including film and television. The identity of this option holder has not been made public.[9] Knudsen himself has argued that his enforcement of copyright has less to do with money than with artistic integrity: "I just want something amazing to come off it... something that's scary and disturbing and kinda different. I would hate for something to come out and just be kinda conventional."[32] As of May 2016, the media rights to Slender Man have been sold to production company Mythology Entertainment"
Still... sounds like he would be open to it. Don't know about mythology entertainment

Looked up an article and it seems the company owners are breaking up and won't be making any more new stuff.
Not sure if that be a good thing or bad thing for slenderman
EXCLUSIVE: Mythology Entertainment is breaking up. James Vanderbilt and William Sherak are parting ways with Bradley Fischer. The three will restructure the partnership in Mythology Entertainment. …

That's just game mechanics. That in turn made him famous for doing just that.
If he didn't move, how would he impale kids to death?
At the very least, he teleports around.
Yeah i guess itd be fine idk where theyd get the rights
I think he falls into public domain.
He is a fairly old myth, I don't think anyone actually owns him.
Also in arrival he didnt kill he corrupted
Doesn't he kill the MC at the end of the game? Never actually played it...the slender game were pretty boring... :p
The power can be paralyze the survivor who look to him or this has a power similar to the doctor.
The survivor we can take a brother or something else of the protagonist of the Slender Arrival
Apparently some guy (supposedly the creator) copyrighted him and does own him now.
