Keys need to be reworked

It becomes just insultingly stupid with keys. I'm not talking about keys in the EGC. I talk about keys in the trial. People bring a key and if they see defeat they stop doing gens and wait for the opportunity to get the hatch. The remaining survivors escape and telling the killer how bad he his. I mean, sure, the killer was bad and you needed a key to escape.

It's time keys get looked at and here is my suggested change

  • Only the key barrer can use it. If he/she jumped through the hatch, the hatch will auto close
  • If there are two Survivors left and one used a key to escape through the hatch, it will close after him/her and EGC is initiated
  • The final survivor can no longer escape through the hatch as it will stay closed. He/She needs to open a gate or use a key, if he/she has one
  • If there are 3 or more survivors and one used a key to open the hatch, it will auto close after he jumped in and the remaining survivors need to finish the gens in order to escape or use a key on their own.

No more BS escapes of all survivors and a middle finger to the killer. You give the middle finger to your teammates ;)

Achievement/Trophy "Where did they go" will changed to "Escape through the hatch using a key" ... Don't be confused with "Backdoor Escape" as it just says "Escape through the hatch".

    Keys are fine and so are Mori's if you change one you gotta change the other though.

    I can't wait for them to remove green keys.

    Broken piece of ######### should never been in the game to begin with.

    Keys are broken.

    And guess what?

    They promote tunneling.

    Because if you dont tunnel,you can have a 3 men escape even if everyone was on their death hook.

    Busted.

    So do moris. Many killers rush back to the hook as soon as survivors get rescued. (especially Wraiths)

    Also you solutions are really not that good and will force other issues

    • the 2rd one for example will punish the other guy who did not take the hatch and played the game normally why ?
    • the 3rd one - this will force a never ending game ... unless you open a door for the survivor ..
    • the 4th one - well at this point there is just one gen left so it is not a big deal. You sounded like there would be tons of gens/you said it in plural/ do to but hatch with 3 ppl spawns when there is only one gen left. This sounds exactly the same like your first solution to me

    I think the aura reading power of keys should be buffed and the hatch opening feature needs to be removed or given a very long animation.

    Moris also need to be looked at in the future.
