  • I have throw issue as well . I’m on a brand new pc I just built and specs are top line , game is stuttering but doesn’t show a frame drop really . I’ve been told this is shader cache from Fresh install and to give it like a week to smooth out (?) . Otherwise it had to be one of my peripherals and honestly network issues or router issues would be a possibility , otherwise somehow monitor mouse or keyboard . I’m in Midwest so good oungnfor me is like 60 but here is times when it is 80 , network health looks good but I could be getting packet lose , I’m not really sure how to monitor that honestly . Gsme is not enjoyable for me with the stutters , you can play it but obviously having stutters happen in chase sucks

    Yes i use G-Sync i have a 3080 Ti, and an i9. Luckily when they did this update and added more resolution options my stuttering has ceased for now fortunately

    Well, I literally just built a brand new PC i7 13700K / RTX 4070 / 32G DDR 5. Game is not smooth still!

  • I have a 3070/i7 12 core.

    I definaltly have some stuttering problems and have to poke at this game , especially in the nvidia control panel.

    -dx12 makes my game worse last time I tried.

    Are you using G sync monitor?

    For me right now, FULLSCREEN mode is really janky and WINDOWED FULLSCREEN is better. If using G sync you need to make sure prefered refresh rate is application controled. Or try disabling G Sync it doesnt cooperate with DBD very well.

    In global settings or just in Dead By Daylight settings ? Also, FULLSCREEN mode is kinda janky so for me Windowed Fullscreen seems more stable using G Sync. I may just turn off G Sync with dead by daylight if I keep having issues. Also, Ive followed some other posts you have made on the topic and would be grateful for more discussion especially since this last update.

  • Im getting this too, usually on the initial load in cloak and not after that I dont think-Its all jittery. I literally freaked out and have been tweaking settings left and right thinking my G sync or something was messed up but I think this is a bug.

  • The resolution is downgrading for me at least after changing the windows/fullscreen options. It still says 100% but its downgraded, so the fix is to change from low to medium and then back to your prefered setting and then the resolution will say a downgraded number and you can move it back to 100 and its back to normal
