I dont know if its the trial Anti-cheat at work, but I cant play a single game as either killer or survivor.
I use Keyboard/Mouse and there is this insane input lag when I use the directional keys. If I press a directional key for a few seconds and let go, the character will wander in that direction for the next few seconds after I had already let go of the key.
At first I thought it was a keyboard issue, so I switched out the keyboard with a spare, but the issue continued.
Restarting my PC didnt help, and reinstalling didnt help either. In its current state, the game is unplayable for me. -

Failing to get 4K means being tbagged at gate. Survivors will stand in the gate for the entire EGC just to do so. This behavior is one of the primary reasons referenced when "killer anxiety" is talked about. Being shamed for not "winning". If you think the 4K expectation is because its easy, and that killers are complacent with "being op", then you have less than 10 hours as killer.
I dont know, I feel like this is kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy scenario. Killers slugging and refusing to hook when only 2 survivors are left to try hard and go for 4k or just straight up tunneling from the get go at 5 gens for "efficiency." I wouldn't be surprised if the survivors would want to Tbag the killer in their face before they exit the match.
Similarly, survivors that take advantage of killers that make a lot of mistakes or play more fair and Tbag them at the end and/or go GGEZ in end game chat for example, might also change how killers may want to play in fear of going against these kinds of players again.
Essentially, toxic players build a toxic community and they ruin the vibe of the game for everyone. Everyone needs to learn to chill tf out and know how to eat a loss and be humble when they win.

I can't tell if OP is being serious throughout the post. Yes Lights Out isn't all that fun compared to the other limited modes, but being mad for BP incentive being taken away? Sounds like you've only started playing DBD recently. BP incentive is a pretty recent thing, and if you're only playing because of that, then just drop the game. You definitely aren't enjoying it enough.

The bug when it works has certainly made my survivor games easier, but overall it feels very unfair to killers.
I've had survivor matches where killer just gives up after a certain point because the gens were finished too fast due to the bug, and I've had games as killer where winning was the obvious result but 3 gens got completed instantaneously, and suddenly I'm on the verge of losing.
I'm not sure this is a good answer to prevent tunneling, but this kind of reminds me of when early hatch was still a thing. SWF would always have someone with a key ready for an early hatch escape when either enough gens are completed or when enough people die. As a solo queue, it didn't feel nice to play with as survivor or against as killer, and this current bug shouldn't be considered a solution either.

Even if corrupt became basekit, I feel it won't change how the killers play. Just like how they added the bar so that you can unhook yourself on hook if the killer camps, the killers that do camp just do so right outside the range of the bar progression area. Killers would just have an easier time finding player they can camp, unless the whole team can loop or if they all hide the duration of corrupt. If it's a high MMR comp like OP said, then someone might just bring plot twist and no mither just to play around the corrupt anyways. Overall, it might not impact strong SWF, but it'll definitely make solo Q much harder, which isn't a good solution. Solo Q is hard enough as is, we don't need to nerf them even more.
Honestly, the strong killers will always be strong while the mid and lower tier M1 killers will struggle more. I think it would be better if the perk abilities changed depending on what type of killer is being played. Such as sprint burst duration being shorter against M1 only killers, and longer duration against strong killers like Blight as an example. Or team friendly perks that have percentages in the description have lower or higher percentage based on what killer you play against. And similarly, against swf, killer perks can get buffs as well in a similar manner. If the perks were more prone to change based on who is played I think the overall balance would be better imo.

Definitely agree with the offerings. Too many games where people take advantage of the BP bonus without trying to partake in it. The killers that don't bring the cake in particular, or bring another offering are usually the sweats that would slug and tunnel as well. It would be even better imo, if they can make it so that only those with offerings can interact with the stands to get invitations, similar to some of the challenges that spawn the weird interactables. That way, both for the sake of the challenges and to take full advantage of the event, players would be forced to bring one, and the sweaty killers wouldn't be able to remote hook or break pallets for easy hits, nor can survivors block vaults and spawn pallets.
And after the event duration is over, it can return to being a stackable BP bonus to everyone.

I personally play survivor a lot more, and there have been instances where this happend to me. In one instance it was frustrating, because I could see on hook that everyone was constantly hiding and crouching in areas once killer had hooked me. Once I got unhooked, it wasn't long before the killer found me again. Rinse and repeat and I died.
Saw that the killer was a streamer, so I looked at his pov and basically saw that I was the only one actively running around the map doing things, so the killer would only ever see me. He was even apologetic about it, saying he wasn't trying to tunnel, but I really was the only one he could see.
So ultimately, it's not just about being the "weak link" imo. You could be unlucky and happen to be found too frequently, or your teammates could also just be doing nothing but hiding.
