  • This is on ps4.

  • Ruin rework has let plenty of players rank up who don't belong in those ranks. I'm glad it got a rework but not what it got.

I have more fun as killer because the game usually feels satisfying when I do well. Doing well as survivor usually means I face camp a gen for 5 minutes. I only have fun as survivor when getting chased , but a good killer will just ignore me after I loop them for a bit. Then you go against a bad one that you loop all game and it isn't fun again. This is why survivors tend to be toxic, they are trying to get fun from such a mundane role.

  • Before dedicated I used to lobby dodge when I saw 4 survivors join my lobby at the same time. It was the most fun I had with swf.

What you see as manipulative i see as logical.

1)You want people to purchase your new product (rift) so you create incentives to get them to do so. (Theres a whole industry built around this called advertising. Yes thats a manipulative industry. However in this case there is timelocked cosmetics involved.)

    2) Cosmetics in rift are locked from store for 6-8 months. And? If they were never to be seen again then i may consider that manipulative. Instead they are offering a bunch of items at a significant discount. One outfit costs 10 bucks. The rift costs 10 bucks....once.

    3) One time buy in. If you want to devote time in playing and completeing rift then you buy it and have enough rewarded cells to do it again the next rift. No one is forcing you to buy.

4)Again, if you play, you will complete it. No not everyone will be able to complete the whole thing. I did. The first time and am on track to do it again this time. Despite not playing everyday. And being married with kids and a full time job. If the option to buy tiers wasn't there the outcry would be the same. And no one is forcing anyone to buy the tiers

5)The dlc characters can all be purchased with shards. Yes you have to play the game to get the shards but arent we playing this game? Also the rift doesnt require the dlc to complete. It just takes a little more grinding. I will agree with you if they force us to use licensed characters to complete the challenge.

Ultimately i dont agree with you on your definition of manipulative. And that's fine.

I will say that for the health of the game they really need to fix things more than throwing bandaids on them. But it's a catch-22. They need to hit revenue goals to stay afloat which means more programming and more bugs, which means more revenue for programming to fix bugs, which means more money needed which means more bugs and so on. It would be amazing if they went to 3 dlcs a year for a little while. Just for health reasons

Because you have been manipluated into thinking that.

  • I main killer. I am not nice at all.

  • To answer your question, yes, you are in the wrong here. This is looking for players ps4 section. Not validate me whining about whining.

    Take it to killers forum.

  • How about Aphex Twin? Cmon bhvr, you know you can't say no to that face.

He could even produce his own chase theme.

  • Annie wilkes from misery.

I want to see her for no other reason than a kind seeming smaller lady bashing kneecaps with a sledgehammer.

  • It it really annoying when you go from plenty of struggle time left to instantly dead because of a lag spike. I also hate when someone goes to rescue and then stops halfway through, so I'm not hammering the button and i die.

Making it auto isn't great. Holding down the button could work?

  • I agree, killers are in a decent spot. The problem I am feeling right now is that suvivors and killers both need another objective. Rushing gens and murdering are the main mechanic in this game and they work. However, something else needs to be, perhaps an idol that the killer collects to bring to an altar and get a buff from the entity, while the survivors can find and hold onto them to keep them out of the killer's hands. This can help survivors decide if the toolbox gen rush is worth letting the killer have a buff.

What would be the buff? I dunno, what if mori was no longer an offering and instead was an objective?

  • Give Cannibal a rage meter, it charges when you end a chainsaw attack without hitting a suvivor or hitting a wall. Perhaps it could raise very very slowly while chasing and when they escape. When the meter fills it he goes into the frenzy mode where he loses his movement debuff when revving the saw. He also loses the frenzy when he downs an enemy.

This will encourage more chainsaw play with the cannibal and plays into his anger and chase capabilities.

  • Let swf only queue up with rank of the sam color code. However that makes an issue of playing with friends.

Hey behaviour, not every damn match needs to be ranked, casual play is a thing too, you know.

  • Bill Nye the science guy. Imagine the horrow of being chased down and hearing.

"Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!"

  • Perhaps the town itself as a map would be the best thing overall that could be added.

  • Getting body blocked by a suvivor multiple times, downing him, basement hooking him, and camping the stairs.

Seeing that same guy next match and equipping a mori.

    No remorse for body blockers

  • Let us keep tabs on trapped people. Perhaps when they interact with something that isn't removing the trap.

Since traps aren't that great we could be allowed more than 4.

  • The plague, I have no clue how to dodge her puke.

  • If anything from silent hill deserves to be in dbd it is Robbie the rabbit. Imagine that prowling towards ya.

  • The happy birthday song shows they can put effort into the music, I would love to hear some new music for each killer, I could imagine the hag or the plague having some real haunting songs as they chase after you.

  • Use the after match thumbs up.

If in game just look us in the eyes. We did it because we love you and like the way you smell. We wanted to be near you and you made that possible. Also, you better leave fast before I change my mind and decide you would look nice on a hook.

  • What if using a mori unequips your addons and/or perks?

Perhaps a Mori would only be able to instant kill if the target wasn't close enough to another survivor?

Or maybe when a mori kill is performed the remaining survivors have a chance to revive or the killer's location is revealed for 15-30 seconds?

  • Perhaps add secondary to both.

Give killers a way to spend time dropping a gen back to zero on a long cooldown. Perhaps he can pick up sticks or metal bars and when he has enough they are usable.

Make inactive totems (from a lack of hex perks) have a single one glow, mostly as a decoy. They could have zero use .

How about a secondary thing for survivors some sort of adrenelinr shot, which can only be found in lockers, collect the parts; syringe, fluid, tourniquet.

This can make a single survivor faster and take 3 hits to go down with a 5 second duration.

So many possibilities in this game yet it just ends in looping and rushing.
