I had this same problem when I first started out. First one seen tunnel/camped to death and match is over for me in about 5 minutes. I would hang there and let other survivors do gens watching the killer camp me. Then when I was not the first person "caught" that person would either D/C or kill themselves on the hook and I'm like "Thanks [Censor]!" So over time I've watched some good streamers to learn where the loops are and I've played around with different perks until I've found something that works for me. The best advice that I can give you would be to get DS and Deliverance those are the two best Anti-tunnel perks imo. Also running Kindred will let other survivors know what's going on while you're hooked.
I know its not the answer that you're looking for but it is possible to avoid being tunnel/camped by just getting better as a survivor. And as of now the choice of whether to camp and/or tunnel is up to the killer, so if they keep doing it and don't get any results then they'll have to change the way they play.

I feel your pain Drake, but for different reasons. I'm not playing this game achievement hunting. I've tried playing killer and its not the ranks that bother me (as players can intentionally de-rank at their leisure) its "Survive With Friends" that has made me stop playing killer. Every match that I get in the gens are done and both gates are open with in 3 minutes. All the survivors some how end up with 20k+ blood points and I have around 8k and a minus one pip. I've messed around with my perks and tried different killers but its always the same. And maybe ONE match out of like THIRTY will be a team of potatoes like I get when I solo survivor.
What I'm getting at here is the match making system is garbage and the game is unbalanced to the point where it is almost unplayable. I'm not even going to mention the things that I have to put up with from killers and other survivors as a survivor main, but just know that the grass isn't any greener on this side of the fence.

I don't main killer but I have played as killer. I play on console using surround sound (at a reasonable volume) and I cannot hear footfalls unless they're right next to me. I listen for obvious things like gens getting worked on, crows, injured survivors, chest opening, etc I don't think that a small advantage is worth hearing loss, it is a game after all.

I think the perk was intended for lucky or skilled killers. If you run a survivor near a gen that is being worked on, then you can hook them right beside gen then kick it. Don't think it was meant to be a bonus for hooking a survivor.

I would really like to see a d/c penalty. I would also like to have a way to identify players with "bad reputations" so you'll know not to cue with them. Knowing rank pre-game would be nice too...

Nea is already a killer, she is the Legion.

I main survivor and honestly 4 slots is a lot to begin with. And there are so many good perks and combos already. Its fine the way it is. Just stop clinging so tightly to self care and adrenaline and you'll have 2 more slots right there :p It took me a while to let those go, but trust me when I say they're only holding you back.
If anything you should loose one perk slot for each friend in your party >:)

This feature would be nice. Que could also automatically pair 4 man swf against low rank killers so that both sides could have a good game.
From the survivors perspective I would like to be able to see the survivors dead by daylight stats. Stuff like how many matches that they dc from, how many times they been rated in each of the areas (thumbs up, harassment, troll, gear, unsportsmanlike).

So If I'm understanding the OP correctly he is saying that Claudette has an unfair advantage because of her color palette? Does Adam and Tapp have the same advantage in your opinion? Because I main survivor Kate, wearing Dainty Curls head, Old Glory knotted t-shirt body, and Jorts legs. And I have no problem staying hidden. The killer only sees me if I want them to. Its not about the "color palette" its about your positioning. Not hiding in obvious places. And knowing what the killer is looking/listening for. In my opinion all survivors have the same advantage color palette wise. They all have "stealth" outfits and "toxic" (hi-vis) outfits. It all really depends on the players skill.

I agree as it is now it feels like you're just being paired up with people that are "ready" regardless of rank. Making rank solely for bragging rights.

I agree with xStansfield nothing is wrong with current stealth. My trouble is loosing the relentless killer once they run into me, just bad luck on my part. Claudette is a good "invisible" character so is Feng Min. Wearing dark colored clothing to not stick out as much will help too. Also playing a match or two as the killer will give you a better perspective of what they're looking for so you'll know what to avoid when you're the survivor. And you didn't mention anything about sound either, 75% of the time that's how the killers find you. They follow your scratch marks until they stop, then listen.

I love this idea. I would actually go a step further and say that all non-teachable perks should be available at T1 from the start for both killer and survivor. The blood web is just so random and I'm not one of those survivors that gets 30k bp a trail.
@ guys who want universal voice chat
Have you ever played a game that has this? Its annoying to say the least. VC would kill the atmosphere. I think it would help more if people actually played the game the way it was intended, but I'm not getting into that here :)
