hopefully people keep believing it’s a weak perk. the perk is disgustingly strong as with reassurance and yet nobody uses them because they benefit other people and not themselves directly
-
he was in a healthy spot after the rat poison change, devs need to listen to the community a little less because a very large portion of it has absolutely no idea what is good for the game and what isn’t

I will never understand why people actually think that Skull Merchant is nerfed due to her Killrate, but are not tired of explaining that her Killrate is mainly due to people not wanting to play against her.
But that she gets changes, because People dont want to play against her is not understandable for those people.
there's a direct link between kill rates and people not wanting to play against a killer though. you can literally see that happening in skull merchant's case. people giving up is the reason WHY she has such a high kill rate.
i don't care about skull merchant, she could get deleted i personally wouldnt gaf but from an objective POV this just sets a very bad precedent and i don't like where they're going with this balance philosophy and i dont want to see this happen to other killers

unfortunately removing map offerings won’t change the fact that most maps in the game are horrifically unbalanced
sure, you won’t get sent to eyrie of crows now, instead you’ll just randomly get bad killer map #1626 and still have a bad time.

I agree wholeheartedly with OP because I genuinely want to tear my hair out at the lack of counters this killer has. Dropped a pallet? Immediately flies over it in bat form. Want to blind him? No.
I can see him being the next skull merchant, every time we get him in a match we dc. I’m sick oh BHVR releasing the most unbalanced killers every release their is.
You can literally react to him flying over the pallet with bat and vault back before he can m1. If drac EVER gets a hit this way the survivor is just bad

Gen regression doesn't factor into camping.
70s hook states will give survivors more time to work gens, more time to reset and move in to trade, more time to apply reassurance.
If the killer camps, yeah. That's the point. An anti-camp change is not supposed to spare camping tactics.
this overall makes killer pressure worse
Not if you don't camp.
the issue with “haha camping is le bad so your entire argument is actually also le bad” is that camping, when used correctly, is a valid strategy.
example, i play wraith, one of the best strats you can do is hook someone, leave the hook and injure multiple people hopefully the entire team, and come back to force 2nd stage, since nobody can trade if everybody is injured. increased hook stages will hard nerf this strat because survivors will have even more time to reset and prevent you from pushing 2nd. i’m arguing that this strat does not need a nerf, it already has counterplay as any decent player already knows.
-
No, the devs have actively been ignoring any requests for this feature for several years at this point.
-
adding DC bots while simultaneously keeping penalties is counterintuitive. people already kill themselves on hook or go AFK when they don’t want to play a match, and this will not change after they add bots.
i would much rather have a bot on my team that can actually do the objective than play a 3v1 or, worse, deal with dead weight on my team that’s dropping every pallet on the map out of spite.
remove dc penalties.
-
she's already hard. but a killer being difficult to play doesn't excuse them from breaking the fundamentals of the game.
her basekit needs to be heavily nerfed/reworked.
-
they're too scared to nerf medkits outright.
-
a lot of the perk changes were done without balance in consideration. they don't care if the perk is unusable, as long as people stop using it they see it as a win.
ruin and pop are the most obvious. absolutely dead perks that will see no usage after the update.

Ok with the buffs to killer basekits, and the huge nerf to survivors with now no counter at all against camping and tunneling especially in soloq, what do you think the killer queue time is gonna be after the patch?
I am sure we will be back to pre nerf Ruin times of 10-15 minutes.
Soloq is dead and literally every solo player I saw post somewhere or talked to personally said they are either gonna stop playing, go full swf or go play killer.
I for myself are gonna go full killer main after this patch and if the queue ends up being as bad as I think it's gonna be, I am just gonna take an even longer break until they finally buff soloq.
the survivor part of this community tends to be incredibly overdramatic when things on their side get nerfed. remember the giant outcry when DS got nerfed not too long ago? how that would supposedly make the game unplayable?
as somebody else said, survivors are not going anywhere. it is the easier role in the game and gives you the option to play with your friends, so it will ALWAYS be the more popular role in this game (as it should be, since we need a 4 survivors to 1 killer ratio).

It is not my fault killers are grossly overpowered. When a Blight has pounded 3 survivors and everyone is already been hooked twice with 4 or 5 gens still up there is no reason to struggle.
Solos can't win when the killer has a couple of working brain cells.
i think sluzzy deserves the award for most dedicated troll on the forum.
seriously, how long have they been doing this for at this point? years?
-
honestly even an icon during the endgame screen would be better. at least other people can see that.
-
besides the DS and bloodlust changes, this update really isn't that bad for survivors. not *nearly* as bad as people are making it out to be.
i find the dead hard outcry especially funny because sprint burst and overcome still exist. they are just as strong (arguably stronger) as current DH. neither of those perks were touched during the update and survivors can just move on to using them.
-
they said they were looking at it, but i genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if nothing changes. they would upset a MASSIVE portion of their playerbase if they nerfed it.
-
ruin was buffed.
you’re completely right on dead hard though. i genuinely hope they nerf it to the ground.

When combined with Infantry Belt, iri hatchets are very OP. I agree with the suggestion you made, they should only instadown from a certain distance
