Happened after the update, I already verified integrity and nothing seems to fix.

Till this day, I still think DS should work like: Lasts for 30 seconds, goes away if you interact with anything other than pallets or windows (totems, gens, lockers, healing another person). The timer pauses if you enter chase (or if the killer is like, 20 meters near you). In this scenario, DS only works against hard or soft tunnel, it can last forever if the killer really insists in tunelling you, it still a good perk to counter camp and etc, but survs lose their immortality while being able to do gens and stuff

Unfortunate. It was one of the only things I was looking forward to in this update.
I know that a 32 meter is scary, but it's a single person that will have this information (unless I'm in the hook), if everyone is using this (so everyone have the killer aura revealed), then it's good for the ######### killer because now this survivor have 2 less meta perk.
BuT sWf?¿?
OoO is way stronger in swf.

No, only for Kindred does that limit apply. Kindred cant be surpassed 24m
Never heard about it, where sid you saw this information?

They did buff it, apparently. They just didn't bother to change the description or put it in the patch notes. At least, that's what I've been told.
I'm positive they didn't

Maybe but it was cut from the patch notes as well; and it was one of the major things they talked about so I doubt it was an accident.
Tbh I have a theory as to why; but I don't want to end up having someone trying to start an argument with me over speculation.
I feel like they are afraid of it being too strong. Solos would not use 2 meta perks to have something SWF have for free. Bhvr sometimes is something else...

i just very recently got a 2060 so im not too worried about preformance issues. however to answer your question, as the graphics update is coming to switch, ps4, xbox one etc, they have to be optimized to be able to run on said platforms. i believe the devs have also stated that their only partially done with all the preformance tweaks, and optimization their doing to the game as they wanted to hit a solid 60 fps on consoles (30fps on switch in undocked, unsure about docked.) though the last optimization update to my knowledge was back in and around november last yeaaar i think? i'd have to go check. Seeing as im considering getting the switch version for play at work/on the go when cross platform play comes out, (and hopefully full cross progression as i've bought all dlcs, and way to many cosmetics to be healthy to my wallet) it will be solid, but afik its already pretty solid on switch, if a bit stuttery at times.
Devs have stated in the past wanting to add more preformance options for pc users/more customizability/more optomization to code across the board to make it run better and better, but that due to working on so many different things at once, its a matter of their team being stretched quite thin to achieve all their goals in a reasonable amount of time (ie releasing new maps, new chapters, etc etc.) I also believe in the anniversary stream when they announced it (though i could be remembering wrong) they said it shoudn't be a preformance hit.
@Peanits would you agree with this?
that's amazing to hear! Thanks

It doesn't necessarily have to perform worse to look better. League of Legends Summoners' Rift has been reoptimized and retextured multiple times. It looks better and performs much better than back in League's original days, as just an example.
The problem is that this is BHVR we're talking about and their records of optimization has not been good considering 4 years later and we still lack a proper options menu than some games that are in pre-alpha are capable of doing better. And I'm not even exaggerating or being sarcastic.
Devs could just not do any new content for 2 months and do optimization, that would bring more players than actuall new content

It shouldn't change anything performance wise. At least judging by what they showed. It looked like everything was retextured but textures were still low res
that's something, still hope that they do some performance update.

I have a gtx 1050 Ti and I have to play on low not to lag , the game needs better optimization along with the new graphics.
RN I play on 40 fps-ish by making the resolution negative (-20%), it's fine for me since I play mostly survivor and I don't have to face 360 survivors. But I feel like my pc could run this game at 40 fps without it. Death Garden is WAY more detailed and is full of fancy stuff and it used to run at 60fps. BhVR should just start to re-do the game from the foundation, they are building codes into spaghetti. Make a team just for it, even if it takes 3 years, would be soooooo good. So many players would come to dbd, not everyone have a pc gamer, and dbd don'thave a big ass map or crazy particles to be this laggy.
