I feel like this killer is extremely unfinished. I've seen the dog have a CLEAR line of sight to catch a survivor multiple times, and every time it has missed the survivor. Why?? The dog will and has turned a random corner, completely missing a survivor. The pathing for the dog is horrible. The dog should just immediately come back to you, as it will get stuck for no reason, I've seen people try to use the search or catch and the dog will literally be chilling in a corner but the option for the power is still there. Is there really no lock on feature for the dog? No radius in which the dog will automatically catch a survivor and or be locked on to the survivor to THEN catch them?
I say "I've seen" Because I don't play killer, even if I did I certainly wouldn't waste any money on this one, but the people I've watched play this?? Miserable time for them and miserable time for me watching the dog constantly fail a clear catch and stop searching after getting stuck on a staircase or tree. And once, if ever, you actually get the dog to catch a survivor— why doesn't it do anything? No health state loss, no deep wound, no nothing? If the Deathslinger gets them deepwounded, I feel like the dog should as well.
I really like this killer concept, in every way! I just wish the dog actually DID something. I realize skill issue is also a thing, but again, I've seen the dog miss a catch HEAD ON; seen the dog take a random curve, path to go up on the CRANE of Autohaven when it was sent in a straight line.. like?? If I'm wrong about anything, I'm more than happy to be corrected 😭 But I know my eyes ain't wrong and seen that dog go to the Mcdonald's drive thru rather than catch a survivor.

This is so well said. I am so annoyed with the new character menu UI, as I think it worked well for the store page, but definitely not for the lobby. I own only 4 other characters beside the main base characters, so the fact I need to SCROLL down, past all the characters I do not own, just to select Yui? That does not make sense to me at all. And it is small changes like this that just gets me annoyed before I can even play an equally more annoying match lol. The cosmetic list is just as bad, it was much more convenient to see all the cosmetics at once, than to- again- scroll for them. And imagine if you owned all the cosmetics for a character? That'd be such a pain.
The Killer's perks and add ons being covered by absolutely nothing and not having even the outlines for such things, is pretty dang cheap imo as well. When I first saw that I legit thought it was a visual glitch, because seriously, what was the reason for changing it? The Killers powers covering the entire screen is also a completely avoidable thing if it were to open up just a separate page. The perks in general being hidden behind a button confused me the first time and it took me a long while until I figured out how to view the perks.
And the rift page covering the EGC has ALWAYS bothered me!! It does not allow me to chat immediately until the page goes away on its own, which by then, everyone has left the EGC. As someone who likes to say GG every single time, this is annoying.
Again, these small changes really do make a difference to one's gaming experience and in my opinion, this QOL update kinda flopped majorly. They changed completely unreasonable things. The character/customization list irritates me the most and I don't think I'll ever get over it lmao.

I think a good rework of distortion could be: If it only worked against killer perks and not the killer's add ons. Working against only the perks makes the most sense, since BBQ and Lethal Pursuer are imo the most annoying anyways. But if a killer has a aura-reading add on for their power, I don't see why distortion should work against it.

This is not much different than people slugging for the 4k when they don’t know where the other survivor is. People want a chance to survivor and killers want their kills. Your solution could work if the gate time also speeds up so there’s a realistic chance for both people to escape through the gate. Otherwise a hatch offering becomes to strong on the killer side.
I think it is extremely different. Because if slugging was happening, the game is continuing and no one is being held hostage in the game. The survivor being slugged would eventually bleed out and the hatch opens for the other survivor to find or for the killer to find.
What I am suggesting is for when the game is at a complete stand still and there is no way for the killer to continue the game because the survivors refuse to do gens/die. Wanting a chance to survive is fine obviously, but if there is no way for the game to end because either survivor won't just die, then I just think there has to be something implemented so no one is stuck in the match.
And to maybe add on to my suggestion: When the hatch opens, it does not spawn based off of a hatch offering, so its pretty fair game for anyone to find it. And if the killer finds and closes the hatch, the survivors auras are revealed and the game can continue.
I just would love if survivors stopped hiding in the game and accepted death to get everyone into the next match. Like, it's okay to die in a game 😅

I don't exactly require a Chaos Shuffle Mode, what I do want in this game is the ability to slot in the Random Perk function into my build or parts of my build. As well as Addons for my power and Offering so I can play Chaos Shuffle in the normal game or in any event in the future on my own terms. That would make me very very very very happy.
Yes that would be just as good!! All it would require is the push of a button to randomize your loadout!

I've seen this happen with three survivors left.
It's maddening. Something needs to be done, this has been a problem for years and it feels like it's gotten worse. Especially since I see some survivors play this way from the very start of the match. The game doesn't punish people who don't participate, even though it's designed so that the entire game falls apart if survivors don't attempt the objective.
Exactly! I have seen 2 survivors have a loadout that basically makes them unfindable/invisible the entire game and ALSO bring the Mother's Dwelling map offering, with the INTENTION to hide the entire game, because that's what they did. The killer had to DC once they figured out what the survivors were doing because there was essentially no way to find the survivors. Did the survivors say something in end game chat? "gg ez" of course.
Edit: Basically same thing happened on Temple of Purgation with the 2 hiders relying on the other 2 teammates actually playing the game
