Closed Beta has begun in August 2020 and the studio has been making a lot of improvements, especially the passive training that's been removed entirely and replaced by an item-based progression. Also the performances improved with each patch, so large-scale sieges now run more smoothly.
The gruesome elements of Crowfall remain unchanged : grave digging, frankenstein-like mechanics, sacrifices to the gods, etc.
Yes, those are some of the playable characters!

Looks like there won't be any graduation for me, or jobs for that matter. Can't get jobs without diplomas, and even if I do get the diplomas, no one is hiring because everything is shutting down. My step parent's job has been shut down for weeks so now I literally have no privacy, no alone time or personal space in this tiny overpriced apartment. As a lone wolf, I need my space and alone time, it is crucial in order to keep my sanity in tact. Constantly living with someone 24/7, that I don't often see eye to eye with, and even sometimes get into heated arguments with, is just clawing away at me. I just want everything to go back to normal, graduate, get a job, and move to Canada, so I can truly be on my own. My family is just one big mess and I can't afford to live near my few friends, can't even see em cause they're on the other side of the country. And now we have selfish people hoarding everything, because instead of taking just at least 5 minutes of research for just one day out of the week, they'd rather waste hours watching mainstream propaganda and buy into fear. As if my family situation wasn't already a problem, now I'm getting screwed by the world.

"... an over-glorified cold" The death rate for covid-19 seems to differ from one place to another. In Italy so far there are 15,729 people who recovered, and 12,428 deaths. Which means almost half those who gets tested positive die. In that region it seems to be a lot more severe than a cold.

I wash my hands every time I go outside. Not really anxious about it, since I consider the risk is tiny of contracting the virus because of touching something contaminated. It's way more probable imo that I'd get it by staying around someone infected.

I'm guilty of stockpiling 20kg of rice. At least my family and I can last a few days in case of shortage. Hopefully the stores are going to increase their supply to meet the demand.
