Yup! I’ve crashed so many times. In timeout right now when every single time it was a crash.

I've had more people DC since the penalty came back then before.
Most before the first hook. Two teams of team of two and a singular this morning. lol
I think it's some kind of protest. Bizarre.
Honestly it might not be intentional. Ever since the aura update, my game has been randomly crashing. Not loss of internet, no rage DC’s (I don’t ever), and right now I’m sitting on a 30 minute time out for many crashes over a couple days and worried about getting longer ones. All for THEIR screw up. The game is almost unplayable.

That satisfying SNAP and scream of someone getting caught in my trap. It just makes me smile every time. Especially because one of my favorite addons is honing stone.

There’s just something so satisfying about a good kill. Whether it’s out mindgaming them, or hearing that wonderful scream and snap of a trap. It’s just FUN. And I actually mostly play survivor, so knowing their panic as they try to free themselves as I strut closer, just makes me gleeful.

And yet I can't remember the last time I've been camped. Yet again, it's a tactic which the devs have confirmed they have no intentions on changing because it's easily counterable by doing gens. It's as viable as the survivors make it.
I’ve had a very similar experience. It happens now again again, but honestly I feel like a lot of these complaints are from people who call it facecamping when the killer is anywhere near the hook or able to get back to it before they escape the area completely. Same for tunneling, if you hook them twice in a row no matter the reasons you’re a dirty tunneler. Doesn’t matter if they literally ran out in front of you a good 40 meters from the hook. You’re supposed to let them escape!

I’ve seen the ban system. I frankly find it to be unreasonable. It’s entirely too lax at preventing bad players from DCing when the game is not going their way. There are several chances before the time you can get back into a game becomes prohibitive. And guess what the common denominator is at that point. You.
Every single game mechanic you’ve complained about is a legitimate technique. Is it fun when it happens all the time? No. But it’s not going to happen every time, especially to you right off the bat. It’s not like you never have the chance to play. If you’re getting personally tunneled and camped for 3 games straight, it’s clearly not your time to be be playing with a run of weird luck like that. Try again in an hour. Furthermore that high level of disconnects tell me your standards for what qualifies as tunneling and facecamping are fairly suspect. I play two different systems at midrank to high, as survivor/killer 70/30 which means I get mixed in with a lot of ranks. Which means I have a feel for a majority of the population, I believe. I can play literally all night for a week, get serious, committed tunnelers 1-2 times a night, casual tunnelers (just going for the easiest prey they see rather than deliberately seeking out the same survivor) probably another 2-3 times a night. Face campers maaaaybe once a week. I honestly don’t see the issue with sluggers. I prefer that and to be given more than 2 chances if I’m having a bad game. And if you’re losing internet that often, you SHOULDN’T be playing. It’s not fair to your teammates.
If it were up to me, the second time in an 8 hour period you DC after your character has been downed or hooked, you should be done for the 8 hours. You’re exactly the sort of player this system was designed for, stop screwing over your team over a hissy fit about someone’s strategy. If you think the game is trash, don’t play rather than contributing to making it trash for everyone playing with you.
