  • Barely any use, cool idea, but maybe pause the wiggle. Timer for some time, like mad grit, 2/3/4s.

  • I have to agree with the original statement, power struggle is rare, and even more so without other perks.

  • I will say only 1 thing about camping:

Stop complaining about it and get good. It is a bad strategy if your team does gens. And lastly there is no fix. The fact people complain about face camping is nothing new, you see complaints in other games about camping, but in dbd people are very VERY upset about it.

    No.

Very vague response and no help at all, while i agree with a system to help in case of game crashes it would come with problems and will be hard to implement.

It can be abused, because depending on how you plan to make it, ofc it will have bugs.

It will not help much, you will need to add a timelimit, if not ppl will dc, and rejoin st the end of the game. Or if the killer dcs then what.

There are other reasons but at least im not being as vague as a "no", hope it helps.

  • Nah, they are easy to find and easy to destroy, think of em like hexes for survivors, but I would like it's range to be shorter, and a few other things to buff killers, most of my games against boons where fine, you should prioritize breaking boons asap, the game doesn't need for boons to be removed, simply, buff killers to some extent.

P.S You guys had, over 2 weeks, of PTB, you should've been making these then, not now when the update is live, sure it might get nerfed but you should've stated so when it was still in ptb.

  • Sound issues from your pc or simply a bug, so idk i never seen this issue.

  • Survivor:

Sacrifice / Worthy Sacrifice / Take me, not them!:

Your selflessness makes your friends' life more important than yours. You unhook survivors 5%/10%/15% faster. After unhooking a survivor, Sacrifice activates, and the next time you get hooked, you can last 30%/60%/90% more time on the hook, and your friends are granted a 3%/5%/7% healing speed. After you are unhooked, you become healthy. And all effects will vanish. With a 180 seconds.

    Killer perk:

    Hook obsessed:

You want to hook someone as soon as possible. For your first hook, the survivor last 10% less on the hook, and once saved, gain broken and oblivious status effect for 30/60/90 seconds, and gain a 5%/6%/7% speed boost for the rest of the trial

What if there is more than 1 survivor running Never Alone

    Noed. The anti altruism perk.

    1) if a killer has noed. Open the door and escape. Just leave. Go. Disappear.

    2) if they camp, find the totem and cleanse it. You have 4 minutes to infinite time to do that.

    3) they have 3 other perks. Unless they are the legends of aura perks your fine hiding and finding the totem.

    4) survivors already have things to counter hexes. Use them. Stop making excuses. Use them. You already use DS, BT, DH, Prove, etc. Use them. Stop complaining.

    5) if noed is used by bad killers and you get killed by it, your garbage. Trash, low tier. Got gud.

Haven't heard so much truth in my life oh god especially the last one xd, but fr, noed is just like adrenaline or hope for killer, but more risky and better in some sort.

So I just had a match on the Midwich map where the killer had noed and got an undeserved 4k because of it. The only totem perk I had was counter force during this match. I spent a lot of time going around the map trying to find totems and did not find a SINGLE totem the entire time. Meanwhile my team was getting hooked and close to death, so I decided to stop looking for totems and work on gens. We got all the gens done and sure enough noed activates. The killer downs 2 survivors while the 3rd died on hook. Both were death hook so I felt my only chance was to either find the hatch or go for the door when the killer went looking for the hatch. Well the killer does go looking for the hatch, so I go for the door. Sure enough the hatch spawned very close to the exit gate I went to and I ended up getting downed too. All of this happened because of ONE PERK and it was NOT because I didn't try finding the totems. Anyone who tries to find totems on Midwich knows it feels like a lost cause unless you have perks/maps to show you where they are. When matches like this happen (and they happen a lot) I can't tell you how frustrated I get at the game.

NOED is an overpowered, unfair perk. The killer is given too much power and too much end game advantage all because the survivors didn't cleanse all the totems in time.

I do get your frustration but dbd is a survivor sided game anyway, so, noed is kinda like a last redemption. But very risky as it can be cleansed or escaped.

  • Honestly i barely die to noed unless im first to die, once i saw exposed, no more waiting. Hurry tf up and don't attempt to loop.

Idk man, sounds like a Skill Issue, once you saw the exposed effect you should have cleansed the totem or escape, ur fault not the player's or the game's.

  • Have to agree, rhe mist offerings are yseless, maybe buff those? So slightly would equal to double, or even triple than before, and the murky (, greatly increases) should make fog that you can barely see, but having it like this can make it op, so make them not able to stack with other similar offerings. But eh.

well ofc meta perks are better than Calm Spirit, but that doesnt make it a bad perk... And it's in no way in need of a buff, it's like Sabo or Kindred, there are tons of other better perks, but that doesnt make them inherently bad.

Maybe not bad, but situational. And it does need a buff, since nobody uses it, aside from a few people. Because all it does is make you not scream, and no more crows. 2 things that mainly are not that big of a deal

    1. it's a preemptive perk if they do have it.
    2. you see Huntress' use Iron Maiden all the time, and more often than not BBQ too. So getting into lockers isn't a bad idea to counter the BBQ.
    3. If you do see a Doc you'll be happy you have it,
    4. Clowns gas makes you scream, so if he yeets it across the map and hears no scream he may assume nobody is there.
    5. Freddies dream snares cause you scream too, so with the perk you can run through them freely without him knowing where,
    6. I'm not saying it'll buy you 10 seconds or something. But it can buy you just enough time, if thye hit you and try to follow the noise of your moans or scream and there's just nothing for them to go off. They can take a second to figure out what happened.

On 6 you still moan, blood is still on the floor, scratches too, to counter moaning, iron will, much better compared to calm spirit, i get it you use it and think its usefull to you, but most people still don't use it because it is very situational, needs a small nerf, as currently it barely counters that much, look at a meta perk like Decisive Strike, or Borrowed time. They help, and both at once even more so, they are anti tunnel perks, much more helpful than thst, look at sprint burst, balanced landing, or any exhaustion perk, much better imo.

  • @SlothGirly said:

Calm Spirit is actually a staple perk for me. I run it all the time. It has quite a lot of uses that people dont always seem to consider. the list of things it counters being as such.

    • crows,
    • spies from the shadows,
    • infectious fright,
    • rancor (I think, not 100% sure but I do believe it does),
    • iron maiden,
    • doctor,
    • clown,
    • freddy.

Sometimes it will even make the killer hesitate for a moment after injuring you, second guessing if they hit you or not if you were running through long grass or corn etc as you make virtually no sound. it's for sure saved me a second or two and I myself have fallen victim to the "wait, did I hit them?"

    Well,

    1. Barely anyone uses spies from the shadows, let alone listen to crows.

    2. Idk about rancor.

    3. Iron maiden or any perk like that, well see, you have to think how many times you are gonna get that, first of all getting a killer that has it, then of them using it, then finally, actually using it on you, instead of the 4 other survivors.

    4. Doctor, umm yeah but again, you're not gonna see doc every game.

    5. Clown, what has he to do with this?

    6. Freddy, again? What has he to do with this?

    7. Hesitate???? You do realise they still SEE the animation, slowdown etc, also on thr left

My point being, calm spirit is decent, but can't compare to Iron Will, and other meta or stealth perks.

  • SHHHH, they may be a survivor in disguise

  • Either way i say it needs a buff

  • Even with those 2, it's still extremely situational (talking about doc and the perks)

Although i think seeing when a killer scares a crow would be kinda nice, maybe, get a notification of any scared crow further than 12/10/8 meters

Yeah, I am moron. My bad :D Just seen spirit and was like: ah ######### here we go again.

No worries, no way in hell spirit needs a buff, lol

  • @Dino7281 said:

    Ehm, never?

As I know she is fine now as long they don't add that dust thing.

Dust thing? Wa? CALM SPIRIT, the PERK not the KILLER.

even great killers run it too. But I love running NOED and surprising healthy survivors with it at exit gates lol.

I used to use noed, but not anymore as my perk build is set, the only thing I could change is Shadowborn, but im addicted to it

  • @Nathan13 said:

    These NOED threads man ๐Ÿ˜…

People hate noed cause they get killed, and lose because of it, therefore salt comes.

Honestly give the killer a break, if he's bad, oh well, let him have his fun. This game is survivor sided anyway.

  • Noed is not that good, its a risky perk, maybe 1 kill, but good players will either cleanse it or simply escape. Also with boon totems even worse. Actually i say I play better without noed, it's such a risk for just 1 kill....

  • Premonition is also buggy, sometimes it doesn't show you when you look at the killer, but with delay or behind you.... A buff imo is:

Once activated, you see the killer for 1, 2, 3 seconds (not his movement but like a notification)

  • Playing the game for some time i realised the game actually may be survivor sided still, sorry guys haven't played since 2016, and in 2016 infinite jukes still existed.

  • After 2 weeks yeah i agree, especially using meta perks, but my stance is the same with ranged killers, my idea is to nerf meta perks, as one meta perk alone is not bad, but multiple is annoying for the killer, and worse when you got the whole team with it..

So nerf meta perks for survivors and buff worser perks like calm spirit.
