  • Killer : I can’t think of any. Sure NOED is annoying at times and don’t care if it goes. But if I did good on objectives and in chases than I don’t care how I go out, I’m still going to pip.

survivor : The only perk I hate the most are the ones that waste my time while players are gen rushing and that’s nearly all of their perks. But if I had to pick one it would be Dead hard. Easy to counter in the open but entering a strong loop is where it becomes an issue. Especially when they have insta heal in hand.

  • Think I’m going to start slugging survivors thanks to this thread. I mean I usually slug the last two or too give one recent hooked survivor a second chance even though I know he didn’t bring DS.

But if slugging really helps against strong toxic SWF who knows when to body block and gen rush than I will give it a try. Unless it doesn’t work and only potato survivors are complaining about slugging.

Eh, NOED is fine as the odds of being injured when the hatch gets closed is already quite large, so realistically, NOED doesnt make that much of a difference other than the movement speed, which isnt that much. However, what I want is that in the endgame, one of the doors should be easier to open. The closer they are, the easier one of them should open. To give a survivor actually a chance to escape when the killer can easily patrol the doors using nothing but mindgames, rather than relying on luck.

Isn’t there survivor perks that increases speed of opening the gates?

In my opinion. Gates shouldn’t be placed so close together where the killer can simply stand there and spin around.

  • No no. NOED is preforming as intended. As it prevents survivors from escaping once the gates are powered. Putting them in dying state with m1 instead of giving them sprint burst to make it out. It helps killers to not lose time trying to down survivors around loops while two other survivors are opening the gates or 99% it.

Closing the hatch with 2 or 3 gens left to be fixed, instantly causes end game countdown and gates are powered. Which is fair. It punishes survivors for wanting to escape early without fully completing the objectives first. Blame the survivors who opened it, for putting you in that situation without giving you a sign that they are about to open hatch.

So NOED punishes 3 things that I know of and that’s gen rushing, opening hatch without completing remaining gens, and body blockers.

The perk needs a MAJOR rework. We are talking like SUPER-ultra major FIX..

    • High Rank survivors and De Pip Squads are NOT effected by it.
    • Mid-low tier survivors can barely play through it.

    Discussions and thoughts:

    • BBQ and Chili becoming a HEX? (simple fix)
    • Distortion being buffed so it no longer has tokens? (infinite use like calm spirit).
    • BBQ and Chili now with tokens that after a SET number of uses? ( It no longer is active) (Fair to counter with distortion's limitations

I disagree and I just started to use it so it’s not like I’ve been relying on it for all my killers as I haven’t unlocked it through bloodweb yet.

As a new survivor in the past, I had learned to assume killers might have BBQ and will move to another location after a few seconds. Sometimes that works other times it doesn’t. Which is one way to beat it. Another way is by hiding in a locker or remain close by the killer while staying well hidden. Those are the few best strategies to make BBQ useless. Which isn’t hard to do and survivors failing to do so just doesn’t bother thinking ahead or learn what the killer perks are. Like how survivors will accuse killers of cheating cause they can take multiple swings while carrying, thanks to mad grit. Learn and practice what are the best steps to take to counter killer perks.

If you think survivors having to assume what perks might be in play by one killer is unfair, than let’s talk about the thought process of a killer while facing 4 survivors is like.

I could understand it being a MAJOR issue if the perk remains active throughout the match, allowing the killers to see survivors location uninterrupted. But this isn’t it chief. It doesn’t need any major fixes. Thanks.

  • I use Mori as a way to counter body blockers and gen rushing. Fix those two things and maybe I’ll sign up for Mori nerf.
