It just does not exist as a real issue because killers can down and kill just as fast. In fact, I’ve noticed the gens just don’t get done in a lot of these games while playing in the red survivor ranks. The maps are also quite small which means the gens well... they’re squeezed together pretty closely so killers can easily monitor them. Let’s not forget how easy it is to find survivors too because the available hiding is atrociously obvious. You get caught every time no matter what you do. I find it insulting that people will sit here and complain about gen speed when I can go in as killer and keep them under control just fine. So it’s POSSIBLE. i see it happen playing as a survivor and actually do it consistently as a killer all of the time. What’s frustrating and unplayable is actually the amount of work put on the individual survivor that does really well to the best of his or her ability when the other 3 seem to consistently fail and die every game after only 1-2 gens have been done. You wonder why there are keys. A perk left behind that let’s you have a chance. Relying on others is not always going to work out. Playing killer should and will work out consistently. if it doesn’t, well that’s on you.

Ehm...okay, Mister Killer-God? Mary Suing it up much?

How come i play Survivor (in a "Horror" game) to chill then? I sit around at the red ranks, listening to some music and dont even get seen in most of my games? I just need to do 2 gens (m1, oh boy) and chill. When the killer comes, i crouch away ahead of time and sit behind an obstacle far away from the gen. Urban Evade around it, go back, easy escape.

Hiding is very possible, you just have to use your brain and not hide behind then gen the killer comes to check.

    I don't understand the relevance?

Keys are not a mories counterpart, and mories aren't a keys counterpart, in any way shape or form.

They both do the same thing. They end the game early.

Every pink addon on the survivors side they've touched in the past two years has been "nerfed into the ground", no one runs odd bulb, no one runs BNPs, no one really uses needles, they're all pretty irrelevant compared to their first iterations.

I feel very confident that the keys will get nerfed into the ground as well.

What are you talking about? They are all still good. They arent easy wins anymore, but they still do what they are supposed to do.

Moris on the other hand dont do anything anymore.

I say this to everyone now, If you have a problem with Keys, then use Franklins. >:O

    Franklins does not work. Period.

It is an awful perk and you should feel awful for suggesting it. It doesnt do anything.

  • If you dont get why keys are "such a big issue", then why do you even dare to talk about this issue?

Dont start a discussion about a subject you dont even understand in the first place.

  • The reason is, people lost all trust in the Devs. Especially Killer mains got suckerpunched way to many times now, so they cant assume the Devs will work to fix the issues they have with the game.

No, all they rightfully see is the Devs once again taking the survivors side and dumping another tool to punish Survivors. I could go on and on about the intention of features and how they are used, but lets stay with the facts for now.

Your explanations revolve around the Devs having any intention to make the game a fun and enjoyable experience. Thats the level of trust most Killer mains have long lost.

  • The reason keys are unhealthy is because they allow survivors to skip the stage in which the killer is strongest, the hardest part of the game for them.

Killers cant protect all 7 gens, its simply impossible. Only once some gens get done, the game starts to shift and protecting the gens turns doable. Especially if the survivors make the mistake of doing all the gens in one location.

But since survivors dont get punished for their mistakes in this game, they can just skip doing the last gen (the hardest one) as soon as one survivor dies. The last three survivors just skip the last gen and the killer has no chance to stop them.
