Hatch size is fine, this person's attitude however is not. You can report them for that btw since they were technically holding you hostage.
Reports don't actually do anything, usually, unless the person takes the time to record a video, upload it, report it through the website, etc. Not everyone has the time for that over one match.

Haven't had this happen, but it shouldn't be possible. They should change it.

At least in games such as COD and the like, all players are on equal footing - be it on two teams of equal size or free-for-alls.
In DBD it's 4 v 1 and 4 survivor map offerings can counter any the killer could put on. Even cancels the only thing Killers have to deny map offerings.
Sacrifical wards should be easier to get.
Also another point to bring up - whenever a map is broken or has an abuseable bug, map offering usage spikes. RPD library of pain or Midwich untouchable spot springs to mind. Without map offerings, those things would still be there but nowhere near as abuseable since the map would only appear purely by chance.
Ahh, I see. Makes sense. I play both sides but not competitively, so I just offer the maps that I enjoy looking around on sometimes. I didn't think about swfs ganging up on people. I only play solo lol hence the username

Yes and no
Yes I'd be a bit frustrated that I got a bad map, BUT
That frustration is lessened an enormous amount by knowing it was nothing more than bad luck. It wasn't the survivors/killer going "i'm picking a map that favours me".
It is a balance issue in some ways yes. Offerings shouldn't be in the game either though because in a game that is pitting 2 sides against one another, why should either side be allowed to decide the playing field?
Alternatively, have map offerings be shown in the lobby to counteract this.
Interesting take. Thanks for sharing. I've always thought it would be cool to vote on the map before the match, like in COD and others. If a survivor offers one, it could gain an extra vote talley or something.

People hate map offerings because they allow one side to stack the game in their favour before it's even began
Burning offerings for a survivor sided or killer sided map puts that side in a bad position and sours the match. If I'm playing a weaker killer and the survivors decide it's time for Eyrie of crows, you shouldn't be surprised that I'm annoyed by it
And contrary wise when I'm playing solo Q I don't appreciate the Nurse and Blight mains burning macmillan and midwich constantly either.
So then isn't that a map-balance issue and not an offering issue then? Would you still be just as mad if that map spawned randomly?

So did they make it so that keys will only spawn in chests now too? Because it's really starting to feel like killers are being targeted.
And to be clear, I don't think keys should be chest-only nor do I think moris should be removed. Stop touching moris and keys. They are finally balanced.

I meant like is it a trophy or achievement to earn. I play on PS4 so I was wondering if doing this earns a trophy/counts as an achievement.

Is this an achievement?

I miss it. It was always my favourite map, and I've been bummed to see it go since day one.
The new maps are great visually, though, it has nothing to do with "old DBD".
Different opinions ๐๐

An idea I've always loved is a Wendigo from Until Dawn. The Wendigo can pounce on things in the map (like blight), and also climb vertical walls on buildings. I'm not sure how it would work though.
As for a game play feature, I think a killer who could swap locations with Survivors would be cool. If there's a survivor in the basement, the killer would channel a random survivor and swap places to be in the basement. The survivor would be left where the killer started. It's kind of a gamble, but it could be interesting and a jump scare. It would pair well with discordance or something. They would trigger their power to "swap" and would be randomly placed in the location of a survivor. It would also possibly slow Gen progression if said survivor was on a Gen.

So, you were bad all game and because you got 4% more Movement Speed and an Insta-Down, despite failing, you suddenly feel good?
Yikes.
Some games don't go as planned. If they need the boost to have a fun game, that's okay. No need to minimize their enjoyment just because you don't experience the same.

I suggest you watch clips on how to properly loop and make a build around it. Sitting on gens or heals the entire match does nothing to increase your skill as a player. There are plenty of players who their entire match will do nothing but aggravate the killer and lead him astray only to loop chain after loop chain. If your getting caught just sitting on a gen thats your own fault for staying there as soon as the terror radius started playing. There are also perks that are focused around giving information to your team mates like empathetic connection so they know where u are and can get a heal. Again tho ideally you should focus on looping the killer more than gens or heals and wasting his time as much as possible so that others can get the gens done.
I'm saying that I do loop the killer. When not looping, I do gens. It's like me vs killer basically because my teammates aren't doing much to progress the game or loop the killer. I have had games where I loop the killer for three gens and then go down, getting killed first hook because no one will rescue. It depends on the game. I will either be left on my first hook so teammates can sit on gens, or I will end up doing half the gens, then loop the killer only to find my teammates not working on the remaining ones. My point is that I am either distracting the killer and nothing happens, or I am progressing the game alone. You're implying that I can't handle a chase, which was never said in my first post. I'm saying that it's very rare for me to get an escape because of the inability of my teammates because they are new or not skilled. Thus, I cannot increase my mmr because I rarely escape, despite having the most blood points and doing the most in the match.
