I haven't played against any spirits yet but this is what mine looks like with the P3 bloody hair. It's basically seethrough

Was that on lowest graphics setting?

    If not... dear god.

  • That's not a funny face, it's ######### creepy.

Looks like the Boogyman or something.

Hmm Jiangshi is quite bland I was thinking more like the Gui Po! Shes an old woman ghost who most of the time is friendly and peaceful who helps her master! But sometimes she comes back and is disgusting and protest! Shes violent in this state and maybe she appears in this state serving her master the entity!

This seems like a cool concept to build a killer on.

Maybe she'd have a normal state and a more powerful frenzy state, which would be triggered by certain situations.

Do NOT cancel dedicated servers. Do not even POSTPONE them. They are not running that bad, they are running perfectly good!

If people can't hit Huntress hatchets its because they need to git gud and adapt. They need to adapt to a bit of lag when calculating the throw, just like any other game you play with dedicated server and you are a shooter and not the host. That is all.

Sure, it needs some tweaking up and a bit of fixes here and there, but mostly it's amazing and fun and SO MUCH better than having people host the games instead of a dedicated server! It's such a huge quality of life improvement.

I can't believe people are calling to cancel dedicated servers, LOL!

They are not perfectly good. I played a few SWF games on the PTB and getting hit felt so random sometime. Once I threw down a pallet, THEN the Killer started swinging and still hit me. Another time in that same match I was in the middle of a window vault and clearly should've been hit, but I wasn't. All of those were 30ms ping games.

While your experience might'v been flawless, it's in no way representative of everybody's experiences.

  • Yeah, I had my fair share of Michaels breathing done my neck. :D

You can hear the killer's footsteps and breathing when the killer doesn't have a terror radius and you're not in a chase. Terror heartbeat & chase music are too loud to also hear footsteps & breathing at the same time, at least that is how it is for me.

Exactly. My ears aren't even accustomed to hearing those sounds. I was playing on The Game the other day, crouching my way downtown when I heard a loud thumping noise. My brain wasn't fast enough to process those sounds and it scared the ######### out of me when Wraith uncloaked next to me a second later. Man that was hilarious, probably for him too because I jolted my mouse around like crazy.

  • The Clown is always happy when he hits a survivor. :)

There a go, a real, logical comment. That's exactly it. Its not beneficial at all, the only reason to use it is to be toxic or derank.

The only worse part is throwing in more after game toxicity acting like your some god. ( title )

Or they… you know… wanna have fun in a videogame? Don't get me wrong, he/she is definetely a douche for talking like that in post game chat (though I don't see where he claimed to be a good killer). But saying Killers with instadown addons use them solely to be toxic or purposefully derank is Kind of ignorant.

The map should just always be the realm of the killer unless an offering is being used

That would take away the Suspense of not knowing what Killer you're going against. It's even worse for Killers who rely on a surprise factor, such as Myers, GF or Wraith.

To answer many saying the same thing: It's not about winning or lose. Being mori'd after a single down is like a forced ragequit you didn't ask for. It ruins the game. It makes it completely unfun. It's completely imbalanced.

I never said I had a problem with losing games. It was never even implied. The game is balanced less around winning and losing, and more around tempo and point accumulation. Even I know that after only 30 hours playing, so you all should as well. I don't have a problem losing when I've been given a CHANCE to get my +1 pip before getting freaking mori'd. You can get killed after a long game, and it's still pretty much a win because you got +2 pips.

I agree the animations are cool.

It's fine for the "last survivor alive" one. That's a much lower power spike than killing off the first survivor drastically sooner. I said that already, even...

And I think the perk is fine. At least it's a perk, and it has conditions to meet. And you can remove the hex totem.

But the 2 rarer Mori offerings are broken and need to be REMOVED.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/663777#Comment_663777

It doesn't matter that most games are fine, and you "only" see Mori in 10% of games.

The fact that 10% of games are auto-ruined by a poorly designed and immensely imbalancing mechanic isn't okay. The two rarer Mori offerings should simply be removed.

I realize SWF is imbalanced, too. But Mori offerings are still allowed outside of SWF games.

Do you have an umlimited amount of Moris at your disposal? Do Moris absolutely, 100%, without any chance to not to, guarantee the Killer a 4k? No? Then they are not broken.

The terms "Broken" and "OP" are used very excessive These days, especially in this game. Why do you get worked up over something that happens so rarely? If you had a good game and got mori'd at the end of it,then you'll probably pip or even double pip anyway. If you get mori'd eearly, just move on to the next game.

Remember how facing a hillbilly with Ruin used to feel when we were learning the game? A solo yellow rank survivor, playing with other solo yellow rank survivors. Everyone slugged within the first three minutes?

This is going to be the experience of the new players. I can already hear the sound of Hillbillies deranking themselves in the distance.

Remember how facing a good set of survivors used to feel when we were learning the game? A solo yellow rank killer, playing without the safety of teammates who might carry him. Getting looped for more than three minutes?

Why is everyone talking like new players are only going to play survivor? There'll probably be quite a few fans of Stranger Things wanting to play as the Demogorgon.

My point is there is no justification to change such a significant game mechanic out of fear that new players might get turned off by it. Games, especially competetive ones, require skill and (time) investment to be good at. If the new players quit the game after one match where they got stomped, then so be it. That mentality equals dc'ing after getting downed for the first time or getting looped for "too Long".
