What the others said, however I would also like to note that clam spirit is VERY rarely ever taken. It is only great against the doctor and against other killers there are soooooo many other better options. So I wouldn't worry about calm spirit too much, it won't really be used often enough to make a difference in 4 kill rate for you if you play doctor.
Also even if they use calm spirit, which negates your tracking, you can just rely on the same searching stratagies that you use on other killers. the main edge the doctor gets is his anti looping mechanic by timing the shock just right. Happy hunting.

As someone who has been rank 1 killer multiple seasons and rank 1 survivor for multiple seasons, it is soooo much easier are frequent that my team of survivors got all survived than when killer got the 4 kill...
I have made it a point to show how easy it is to survive and solo qued as the biggest character (mr.king) with no items and no perks... easily made rank 1 and survived most of my games. (around 80%+ survival rate) This was solo que. when in a group it became even easier.
If you think killers are overpowered, you may just be playing survivor wrong. -
I would like to point out that I know a group of friends who purposfully troll leather faces who use claudettes face. It is literal blackface and is probably one of the more racist cosmetics in the gaming world. (one of.. not the most.)

As a way to prove a point, I choose the biggest survivor ( which I thought to be david king. pretty sure I am correct.) choose the cosmetic I thought would stand out most (doesn't matter too much.. but still) and rocked no perks and never qued with a single person (as in solo que).. I went from rank 20, to rank 1 with NO problem what so ever... Game is not balanced. Also rank 1 killer.

Also from what i read it isn't closing a free escape to open a different free escape. If you run bitter murmur along with no ed... 9 seconds is plenty of time to go find and one shot that last survivor.

Ok so I have been rank 1 survivor and rank 1 killer. I just want you too know, Quick and quiet is an amazing perk when it comes to losing killers. Every time I grab it I am purely confident I can lose this killer with just about no problem, aside from doctor shocking. Pair that with "dance with me" and "lithe" you go through a window, with no sound, then get a speed boost that leaves no marks..... this is like the auto ghost 2000 (not really if the killer is competent. but still.)
So I can garuantee everyone here, if you are below rank... lets say 5, and you have trouble losing the killer, rock those three perks.. you will have no more worries.
