I fully agree. BHVR needs to revert Wesker while implementing various bug fixes for when he is robbed of hits at windows, slides off of survivors with his bound, and where he somehow dashes backwards when flicking.
Wesker does not feel good to play anymore and much of his skill expression has been removed. BHVR needs to consider that keeping fun techs and skill expression on a killer is a crucial factor to players sticking around to play their game. Why implement changes that actively disincentivize people to play? I understand they may have been trying to "fix" Wesker, but now he is worse. He has been reported to grab survivors through walls after the All Kill Comeback update. That is not an improvement and is frustrating for the survivor players as well.
Revert him for the sake of both killer players and survivor players. Let him have his techs and skill expression. It motivates people to practice him and play killer. It motivates people to PLAY the game and gives us a reason to keep playing aside from blood point grinding because self improvement is a big motivator for myself and other players.
I want to be able to play my favorite killer again without him feeling clunky or stiff. I also want to play against my favorite killer without being grabbed through walls in matches, or having the killer be robbed of a hit because of a bug since Wesker has also slid off of survivors with his bound. Reverting him will make him feel good to play as and against.
Please, BHVR, revert Wesker.

Most of the underpowered killers lack the capacity to be buffed to A tier. Their kit simply doesn't allow for it.
Yes, they are limited with their kits. However, some improvements can help (like when they gave Trapper haste after setting a trap). I suppose it depends on how creative the devs can get with adjusting the existing kits. Otherwise, we would be talking full kit changes.

Exactly. If you decide to pass on the meta and still pick weaker m1 killers, heavy regression or tunneling is almost a must. It sucks, but that's the reality of it. Would be interesting if weaker killers inherently had minor objective control buffs built into their kit (such as adjusted repair speeds). S tier killers would naturally have weaker gen control but lower tier killers would naturally have stronger gen control.
Adjusted gen repair speed is an interesting idea for sure. However, I can still see issues occurring with it. For one, each killer would unequally be affected by things like gen repair speed perks or toolboxes with Brand New Parts. I'm not sure that is such a good idea. Plus, it would be a lot of work for the devs to adjust gen speed per killer if a killer gets an update and is then considered more viable. They'd constantly be adjusting it with each killer update.
I think the solution more so relies on actually making each low tier killer more viable AND balancing maps. I for one am tired of some killers being extremely map dependent. For example, Myers or Ghostface on Midwich will do so much better than if they get Borgo. Borgo is so open you can see the killer from pretty far away. I'm not saying every map should make every killer god tier, I just want more balance. If I lose, I want it to be due to actual player skill, not map RNG or a map offering.
I know the devs are in the process of reworking maps, which I appreciate. However, I really hope they look into The Game soon. That map is god pallet city. I'd also like Badham to be looked into. I'm not even sure why there are so many variations of that map and if basement isn't in the main building good luck getting a survivor to a hook.

I was wondering why they chose blue as the color. I can't help but wonder if this visual choice was intentional so survivors could determine when he's in overdrive? Sure, you can probably determine that from his speed, but the blue makes it very easy to see.

I'm all for more RE costumes! The Wesker one sounds like a great idea and Rebecca.
I want Rebecca's gym outfit and cheerleader, along with Ada's sweater dress.
Claire's new classic outfit too from re2r.
And of course Jill from Re5!
I dream of Sheva's alternate costumes :Clubbin', Tribal, Business and Fairy Tale.
Pleeease I have them all p100, they have so many awesome outfits!
I couldn't agree more! Please BHVR, make something happen. I don't want another Feng Min skin! 😂

Survivors are getting stronger and stronger, so playing the weaker killers can be problematic. This is pushing a lot of killers into picking the stronger killers such as nurse and blight.
It really depends on if you have a coordinated SWF or soloQ that you are facing as killer. I will say that once your mmr hits a certain point, it feels like you see more SWFs, at least in my experience. Then again, mmr can also be janky. I have about 1.7k hours in the game and for some reason I got a 9k hour Dwight in my lobby....I have no idea why. That extreme of a case rarely happens to me, but it still made me scratch my head.
I will say that it can be very hard to enjoy weaker killers once you start to get better survivors. I was once a Trickster main (pre-rework), but switched to Wesker because of survivor haste meta. I didn't even move away from Trickster because of his rework. I just wanted someone with better map traversal while feeling rewarding to play. A killer that had good pressure and wasn't a joke for SWFs. A killer that could be considered more of a threat.
A trapper who faces a full SWF is more likely to struggle the entire match compared to a Nurse/Blight that faces a SWF. This does depend on numerous factors (skill level, perks, the map, etc) but overall Trapper is more likely to struggle. I think people forget why there is such a high pick rate for the stronger killers: Because weaker killers can feel miserable to play with the current state of the game.

Isn’t his chase music supposed to represent the screams in his music when he murders people or something
Yes, it is. The screams are edited into his songs according to the lore. That's why the screams in his theme sound like sirens. However, I feel there is a lot of creative potential here that hasn't been explored.
I would certainly like some kind of creepy, yandere-like vibe for his God of Desire outfit's music with screams somehow edited in. For a legendary skin, that would make it worth the cost. They could also update it with a unique mori animation.

I love this idea. I really hope we can get more cosmetics for licensed killers. I think it would also be cool to have Rebecca's Wesker mode RE0 outfit and Wesker's new RE4R outfit, or even the OG RE4 one. It's probably not likely, but if they were to come out I'd certainly get them. Same with any RE banners and badges.
