  • The "Trickster's Delusion" map is very well-made and unique. It's clear the creator put effort into it. It brings a new and unusual location to the game. I wouldn't change it anytime soon.

However, I really disliked another map: "The Fallen Refuge."
The map was designed as a location based on the TV series "The Walking Dead," but it's a botched mix of "Withered Isle" and "Greenville Square," clearly rushed and carelessly crafted. There are plenty of locations in the "The Walking Dead" universe that could have been implemented in the game.
Take a look at the photos, for example, here: https://walkingdead.fandom.com/wiki/Locations_(TV_Series)
Perhaps the mapmakers at DBD will finally release a decent location based on the TV series "The Walking Dead."
For inspiration, here are a few screenshots from the show:

  • Basically, if it's In-Game Events for a month, I'm all for it.
But then, in this mode, we'll have to somehow nerf the survivors or buff the killer.

Do gens if the killer is standing on the hatch.

    Great idea!
Especially if there are only 3-4 generators left that haven't started!

  • In my opinion, Krasue is only strong at tunneling.
And every third player who plays her only tunnels.
Because the unhooked survivor doesn't have time to eat the mushroom, and Krasue catches up too quickly and hooks them again.

  • You've been balancing the game for years, but now it's going to be completely different?
If you make a lot of killer and survivor perks built into the base game, the gameplay will become very one-sided and the same.
When I played as a survivor, with a good team and a suitable set of perks, we managed to escape tunneling and slugging, we managed to outplay the killer who played from Scourge Hook, and so on.
When I played as a killer, I was able to win a match that was not in my favor, due to the right set of perks or slugging.
The games were very diverse and interesting.
And now the actions of the players and the set of perks will be the same and each new game will be similar to the previous one.

So, you rather have an very easy game for the killer than a actual game for everyone?

Most likely, it was meant that the survivors would intentionally kick weak newbies to replace them with bots
Partly yes, there is such a trouble.

  • I would also like to see "Distortion" brought back as it was.
It really helps newbies not to become the first victim. If a person feels that he won't be able to run away from the killer, then he will could play hide and seek. But now, apparently, he won't be able to :\

  • it would be great to get the option "blocks this player from participating in matches")
Well, or at least for the game to show that the person you blocked is in the match

  • Based on my observations, I can confirm that if the killer resorts to tunneling, he usually wins, and if he doesn't, he loses (provided that the team of survivors plays normally). At the same time, the game from tunneling, as it seems to me, is not interesting for either the maniac or the survivors.

I would really like to see the tunneling tactic made less effective, but at the same time, it might make sense to buff the killers or weaken the survivors in something else. It would be especially good if the killer received some kind of increase in the second half of the game, in the event that the repair goes too fast, and the hooked and wounds of the survivors go too slowly.

  • Survivors should also have a last chance to save a fallen teammate. In some cases, they will be able to save the fallen one using healtech. In some cases, they won't be able to... There should always be some chance and intrigue. Don't shift everything in favor of one side.

  • If the survivors play strong - tunneling is not a problem.
But it's just awful when you have a newbie on your team and the maniac takes him out of the game quickly and immediately.
And how bad do newbies feel when they are treated like this over and over again?

I would come up with a basic perk that, when equipped on a survivor, would, on the one hand, slow down his repair speed, but on the other hand, would not allow the maniac to quickly kill him.
