I still didn't get my cells back I got shards and BP though.

I have farmed alot of games. If i've completely dunked on the survivors and they are still five gens and i've hooked them all twice I feel bad for them. I'll let them smash pallets on me and finish the gens. I don't care about rank, if they seem like they have given up completely I usually just let them have the game. If they are still trying to play normally i'll still chase and hook though.
I wouldn't purposely drag the game out though, if they are still trying then I'm still trying.

@Vallendarf I'd the same thing happen to me, lost all shard cells and BP as well as all the progress I'd made leveling chars was reset to when I'd originally linked the account.
On top of that I only get shards for levels. None for gaining xp, maybe i'm wrong but I could have sworn I got shards for that before.

I don't even know what's meta, I'm fairly new and only just Dinged rank 8. My favourite perks are Sprint Burst and Spine Chill, I don't even like playing without them. But with those two I'll run these different combinations;
Resilience, Vigil. - Quick Gen, quick getaway.
Urban evasion, We'll Make it - Hook 'n Heal (I don't have Borrowed Time yet or I'll replace Spine chill with it for this)
Kindred and Hope/Adrenaline.
These are all probably meta perks but to a novice like me, these are pretty much all the perks I use.

Yeah it's crazy they haven't done something or said anything about it yet. Imagine having like 70k Cells bought when they were on sale and then this happening? haha ######### that.

My friend even has told me that there is now two versions of me to send invites too nether work. One is from before my link and the other spawned from the cursed linking.
The only thing that worked for me was unlinking my Steam from BHVR and playing that way but it's set all my Cells, Shards and BP to 0. As well as reset all my progress I've made since back to what it was when I linked it. Plus now I don't get any Iridescent Shards for playing, only for leveling up. It's completly broken yet they knew and didn't warn anyone?

Update 3 - I'm playing but not gaining any shards while playing. Some of my items are still in my inventory from after the account merge, but it doesn't seem like all of them.

RIP all our Auric Cells, Shards, BloodPoints, Character Progression and Rift Progress. Ye will be missed.

You've encountered Alina.
Alina was a young girl who's father worked hard as a labourer in the meat plant. The management were cruel and evil. The staff were underpaid as is the way with these things. Her mother died to a drunk driver when she was very little so her father was the only family she had.
He worked hard and struggled to put food on the table and to keep the lights on, month to month. Child care was out of the question as they had little money as it was and they had no other family support.
On school holidays where he couldn't rely on the school to look after her whilst he worked, he would bring Alina to the meat plant so he could keep an eye on her. One of these time Alina got bored and ventured into the back offices of the plant as she had never been there before. She tiptoed through the corridor of the run down establishment until she came to an unlocked heavy metal door. She was never seen again.
Rumors spread that the Managers where in deep with the occult and the girl had seen too much. Other rumors said the girl was killed and ground up and process with the other meats, unbeknownst to the hapless consumers and her inconsolable father, and that her spirit haunts that place to this day.
Others say that it was probably just a sound glitch from a DC'd injured survivor, but who knows?

Update 2, I can no longer relink my Steam Account due to a 60 day waiting period between binding accounts and even when I do it will undo all the progress I make between now and then, so what is the point?. So all progress and shards are essentially gone for good. As well as all the event items BP and shards. I wanted to buy a few outfits too while they were on sale and that can't happen because they will just get wiped too. YAY!

Update, I unbound my Steam Account from my behaviour account and have lost all my BP and Shards (Both types) all where wiped to 0. All character Bloodweb progress was reset to before I bound the account.
But on the plus side it resolved the issues with the friends list. That is back to normal. 😂

Don't pin so much of the fun of the game on wether you get out or not, I class any game I score 20K+ in as a win and I win nearly everytime. I only get out maybe 2 out of 5-6 matches.
