The devs have made it clear that the only new players that matter are new survivors. I was playing with a group of 4 last night and our highest rank was an 11 (I was a 5 due to RR) and yet 4 games in a row we got sub rank 15 killers, none of us BM'd but we all felt terrible because there's no way these brand new killers stood a chance against a team with combined hours of over 3k. ######### BHVR?

Hey man, as a killer main. There's no such thing as gen rush, what else are survs supposed to do when not in chase with you but work on gens. If you can't keep up the map pressure people are gonna hold M1 instead.

######### loadouts already, such an easy implementation, or at least it should be. I shouldn't have to spend my time sifting through 6 pages of perks to find the ones I want for my fun loadouts rather than just using the same 4 every game.

Dont get me wrong. I do think it was a completely scummy thing to do. But nowhere did they say the cosmetics would stay a certain price for a certain time. Also, a Halloween sale had been announced since the very start with up to 75% discounts. It cant be completely unexpected at the same time.
I do feel bad for the ones that bought the cosmetics. BHVR didnt give us an event and the people buying the Halloween cosmetics to dress up and embrace the season for themselves and others make a difference (same with Christmas when all people can do is wear an ugly jumper).
The TLDR of it is that BHVR are scummy and we shouldnt be surprised when they take full advantage of people that put any faith in them.
So basically, always expect a company to be ######### because other ######### things exist? Why does it have to be that way in the first place? We can't change it just because it's the norm?

Don't know if anyone's suggested this before, but what I've thought this game needed for a long while is a concede button, if I'm slugged on the ground waiting for the killer to find my rando blendette teammate I'm stuck waiting for 3 minutes until my timer is up and I die.
If someone has been slugged for a straight 2 minutes they should be given the option to concede and be allowed to move on to the next game, it leaves the body there for the killer to hook should they choose too, but shows the survivor remaining that they've already died and the timer continues down until the body expires and can no longer be hooked.
Same for killers, after 15 total minutes in the match the killer has their concede button unlocked which powers all the gens instantly, disables all their perks (to avoid engame perk exploits) and allows them to open the gates forcing the EGC to start.
I genuinely don't think it would be all that difficult to implement and don't see any major issues with it, it stops people from being able to take the match hostage by stealthing around and refusing to touch objectives, it gives people just sitting there and wait to be allowed to play the game an out if they need it, and puts a pseudo timer on the match to push people along without it being a hard limit.

The only thing we need to help new players with is the massive grind it is to actually get a build that they may want. I have been playing pretty much 2-3 hours a day for a year now and just finally got a survivor with all the perks (yes I p3'd a couple of characters but that only adds a little in the drop of bloodpoints spent on this one character getting all the perks) and I don't even want to think about getting all perks on all killers so I'm incentivised into not playing new killers and just sticking with the ones I actually have good perks on. I really feel a rework to bloodwebs as a whole need to be happening soon.

My forum posts do this ######### too where the title keeps defaulting to my own name
why does it do this
idek, i think i just fixed it tho, I just edited it lol

Yes because before patch demo could definitely vault pallets by default just like legion so it's definitely the same thing and the devs are definitely treating the legion unfairly...

this! so dumb that you have to play the perfect game with this pipping system, just tried to get HillBilly's and thought i did pretty damn well, little did I know that I just happened to let the gens get done too fast and didn't M1 people enough... yeah i really feel like I'm being an "adept billy" when im forced to M1 people just to get the double pip...

I see, I thought that by pip-points you meant pips, not emblem points. However, I still maintain that it's not a good idea to reward survivors for essentially failing in their objective.
they cannot fail at an objective that they aren't being given an opportunity to complete, just because someone downed you doesn't mean the survivor has entirely failed. In most cases, the survivor has 3 chances, and in the situation you are describing, they have one chance. The objective isn't to win chases, it is to escape the trial, and if a killer is camping, that means that they are directly preventing you from completing the objective, out of said survivor's control.
Lets say that I am playing on The Game, and a leatherface corners me in the bathroom 30 seconds into the match, downing me, taking me into the basement, and face camps me. Have I failed in a situation where it was possible for me to win? Do I deserve to de-pip because some killer doesn't know how to play properly? Yes there are situation where you can get face camped later into the game but for those people who never even got a chance to succeed its asinine to blame their loss on lack of skill.
Again, I'm not saying to give a pip, just at the very most a black pip if the survivor would have de-pipped as a result of being camped.

So you're proposing that the killer be artificially docked points just for camping, or just that if the killer doesn't do well, the camped survivor receives either no pip or a double pip?
While I agree that camping is the worst and it sucks to be on the receiving end of it, double pips are for people who play really well, and if you think about it the survivor has already failed by allowing themselves to be hooked. They shouldn't be rewarded for that. It is possible to pip even if you get camped, if you played well enough beforehand.
If you're constantly getting facecamped at low ranks (because that's really the only place it happens consistently), it's fair enough to want to rank up to escape that, but the best way to rank up is to improve your skills. If you get boosted to a higher rank for reasons that have nothing to do with your skill level, all that's going to happen is you won't be good enough to stay at that rank and you'll depip back down anyway.
The killer is already docked points for camping lol. Not talking about giving out double pips, just whatever percentage of points they lose from the sacrifice category (because that's the category they lose it from) and doubling it and giving it to the survivor in their survival category.
The idea is to give those players a black pip, not a pip or double.
Also, I say this because despite being in purple ranks, I keep getting put with yellow rank killers and survivors while playing solo. and thus, getting camped, it sucks losing pips because of a crappy matchmaking system and a killer who thinks that camping is a good idea.

Everyone justifying using this exploit need to do as the perk name suggests. Yes there were other exploits in the past, just because there's now one on survivor instead of killer doesn't mean that you get to use it. All exploits are terrible and affects everyone's enjoyment of the game.
The fact that I see people saying "oh well they didn't ban for this killer thing" or "oh its not that bad since you still got a 3k why are you complaining" is honestly sickening. An exploit is an exploit, both BHVR and this community need to step it up. We're better than this, and BHVR should be punishing exploits of any kind.
