You can use Monitor and Abuse as a replacement if you have it, it's not perfect and doesn't work during chases but it still helps abit.
A changing fov seems like it'd be more disorienting and unhelpful than not having an increase at all. Plus it's still eating a perk slot.

Just now learned what shadowborn is, and now i need to play wraith to get it. Odd that they'd make something technical like a fov increase eat a perk slot... I guess i have 3 perks now. =(

Im less concerned with the system showing us what our rank is than i am with bhvr being transparent about how it works. Saying "We have a system to improve matchmaking, but it's a secret" is not exactly being transparent, interactive with community, or being open to feedback. We can't give feedback on a system we have to guess about. I watched something where someone claims to have datamined roughly how the system works. Whether or not they're accurate, is that really what bhvr wants us to do with their system?
Suggestion: Be open about how it works. Be receptive to feedback from people who actually play the game. Especially people who have put more hours into playing the game than bhvr has coding the system that decides how to handle matchmaking. To quote rick and morty: "You may have created this universe, but i live in it". Not me personally, i'm just a noob sub 40 hours killer. But i also know that if i rise in the SBMM system too quickly and only go against survivors who stomp me consistently i'm unlikely to reach 100 hours.
Your players are a fantastic resource. Use them, not keep them in the dark.

Okay so the pig is my favorite killer in concept by far. I loved the entire premise behind the saw series and this couldn't be a more perfect killer, especially in this game. I would like to see a few changes to the character and i like where you're thinking with these but they definitely would need some tweaking.
First before anything, Rules 2 aspect of no box auras until the timer starts should definitely be standard unless timer starts on application. Needed to get that out of the way first.
Your proposed change of the timer starting right away i think is in the right direction, but could use some tweaking. As far as lore goes the timer usually starts once the victim gets their video completed or trips some wire. As far as gameplay goes, timer should start as it does now (once a gen comes online) but additionally once a trapped person either starts searching a box or begins working on a gen. This would signify they are ready to play their game. As for added time based on these changes? So long as it doesn't start right away i don't think that'd be required, but i've never played survivors so i don't have a feel for this.
"RBT trigger on hatch escape" This one i've had mixed feelings on all over the place. Leaving triggers the trap as it should. Can't leave while you're playing the game. The hatch's feel is the unforseen way out. But at the same time lore wise jigsaw doesn't exactly have oversights, that's his "power". Yet still, this is amanda and not jigsaw. Ultimately last person doesn't have an opportunity to check boxes so gameplay should prevail and hatch should not trigger RBT.
"Last box has the key" This was kind of ambiguously worded, but from what i gather you mean the box that contains the key is always the last available box. 4 boxes = 4th box searched has the key, every time. This i disagree with. The game is making a choice on a box to find your key, chance is a factor. Please keep as is.
Increased speed while crouched i don't think is necessary. It doesn't feel that slow, you have auras to gens and boxes so you can move more tactical, and you shouldn't be chasing in stealth.
"Roar on lunge instead of on charge" I disagree with that particular change, but a faster charge i think would be better. No time to react i don't think is in the spirit of the game. At the same time i think they get too much time to react since you already have the audible queue, the red stain, and 360 degree sight thanks to 3rd person. If the pig can get close enough for a lunge they should have a bit more chance at success with it. Especially since you're prowling around at lower speed. Lower speed = more time for gen repair.
All in all pretty well thought out ideas.

On tunneling the only reasons i can see a killer doing so is if they have a daily that needs a sacrifice or something else that guaranteeing a kill will help. Or they need to take out their obsession. Besides those they're just being toxic.
Camping seems like behavior spawned from chasing survivors who have knowledge of safe loops (or possibly skilled jukes, but that cant and shouldn't be fixed. Working as intended). Ive been looped before, and when you are having that done you have two options: waste tons of time or give up and find someone else. The latter option can just get you looped by someone else. In either event its skewed way in favor of the survivor. The skill of the killer player isnt taken into consideration when looping. And to be honest, i really feel like that will hurt the ability to balance the game properly. Just look at the nurse, to a lesser extent the huntress, and to a much lesser extent the doctor.
Nurse cannot be looped. It just does not work. Huntress can stop loops that she can chuck axes over (not applicable to full walls), and the doctor can shock at a range/through walls. They'll never go down to shocks but it sometimes gets people to run away from loops. As long as looping is the best option by a huge margin any killer who can be reliably looped will be underpowered, and any who cannot be will be overpowered. And survivors will be balanced with the ability to loop in mind. If they are given more it will feel like too much.
Id love to give opinion on how to fix that issue but I'm still way too new. The best i can see would be either fine map tuning to remove safe loops, or having some form of negative to the same survivor and killer repeating the same path more than once. This is somewhat addressed with bloodlust but that takes effect based on chase time, not path. It definitely should be looked at though. -
I do agree on the point of no perk should be mandatory. I disagree however that nerfing the perk is the correct response. If it's game breaking or removes counter play or narrows avenue of counter-play to 1 or 0 responses, yes it likely needs a nerf. BBQ does not do this. It only reveals survivors outside the radius, and doesn't reveal them long enough for you to get to them. There is still searching, you just have an idea of where they are.
The correct response is to look at what it is providing that killers see as mandatory and see how to fix that. The answer from what i see is surveillance. This perhaps goes away once a killer has enough experience to know all the maps, where survivors like to run for safety (loops, another issue but separate topic), more adept at noticing a hiding survivor, etc.. I'm not there yet so bbq helps me out a great deal with map presence otherwise i'm blindly patrolling gens hoping i pick the right one. If i had all the above skills i'm sure there would be a better option unless i wanted the blood points.
Also, rather than nerf the most used perks a better option is to buff unused perks. These are here with no/limited places in the game so giving them a better place or stronger presence would be a much better idea.

Using bbq 3 right now while leveling cannibal. I feel it's more useful for the aura reading than the bp gain. Offerings seem to provide more. The bp gain is just gravy, or sauce as it would be.
That said, bbq still feels almost necessary. That aura reading lets you chain hooks pretty reliably so far. I'd say devote some bp to cannibal whether you play him or not and scoop it up.

That's nice to hear at least. I'm huge on balance discussions, i just spotted that subforum and it's likely to be where i spend most of my time. Not that i've had enough time in game to have a valid opinion on balance as of yet beyond what i've heard most people talk about a whole lot already. Thanks for the info and links.
