If that's on PC just imagine what our precious Switch cousins are getting!
Yeah...imagine that..

The Masquerade event made the framerate even worse. I can barely see where the hell I'm going most of the time now.

Y'all crazy for trying the custom matches in this game. Those are still peer-to-peer, so the killer hosts those matches. On a Switch, especially the lite, that would be such a drain on the itsy bitsy horsepower they do have.
Love all of you Switch Cousins! Y'all have it the roughest.
At least it's portabl-

I would genuinely not recommend the game on older generation systems at this point.
It's just not worth it, especially since you still get matched against people who are getting 100 extra FPS.
I'm really just hoping for cross-progression now honestly. I just feel really bad for my friends that spent money on this port.
-
I'm still suffering on Switch, and I had the genius idea of getting my friends on the switch version too thinking the custom games would be better but no. It nearly bricked one of my friend's Switch Lite (Game crashed and system wouldn't power on for a whole day), another friend said they had constant frame stutters which causes them to miss skillchecks occasionally, and I can barely play an oni match with more than 1 person being injured since the blood orbs cause massive frame slowdown. Every one of them thinks the game is just a cash grab due to the low quality of the port. This is the impression new console players are getting.
-
So here's how the update is on Switch. My first game I try Oni to see if there's any significant change in frame rate, and I get sent to Mt Ormond. Already we've got a demanding killer in terms of processing power and demanding map due to the snow.
Surprisingly, it was pretty smooth with only a few stutters here and there. A few players I was up against tried to use dead hard but that bug is still in affect, RIP to those unfortunate souls. My games as Trapper on other maps were very smooth so I can say I'm satisfied with this patch.
The game still needs work and as I've seen from the posts above, this patch didn't do much for a lot of you. I hope things get better for you all somehow.

Head's up: We've postponed Update 5.1.0 on Nintendo Switch to further resolve some issues related to performance. This delay will not affect tomorrow's planned release on other platforms. Thank you for your understanding!

Why would anyone "move on" from the fact that their ######### game doesn't work anymore? I didn't buy a game that was broken, I bought a game that worked and then was broken by the developers. These POS people should be abused at every turn for putting out a completely inferior product and taking peoples money. I mean how TF can you so completely screw up console play in the way that they have? People blink around the map like Tracer from Overwatch (a game that actually works). Im not going to be "understanding" to people who screw their player base over and then have some lame ass anniversary event "celebrating" the game that they so completely #########. ######### these people.
Keep in mind that they are still people. While I don't appreciate what has been going on at Behavior, there is no need for such statements. Try to form your criticism in a more constructive manner.

Given that I'm not the best killer, probably not even decent, I do feel that the performance is what's hindering my gameplay a lot of the time.
I know that the Switch isn't on par with last gen consoles, but a smooth gaming experience should be mandatory, otherwise it's pointless to have the game on this platform. Clearly there are devs who want to make the game better. Give them the resources they need, please.
-
It's people like this who take a fun experience too seriously. Sure, it must be frustrating to miss a DS skill check and get hooked because of it but that's no reason to get this upset. At the end of the day it's a video game and you can always go another round. I hope this experience doesn't affect you too greatly. Cheers.

Fourth crash just occurred. This is turning into an everyday thing now.

Third crash since the chapter launched. Gotta love it.

Hi, I'm a Switch player. We exist.
-
I feel that Nemesis is fairly balanced although the sprint on infection should go. I also agree on the range and how just one meter more could give him that extra little boost. Now hear me out, I'm not saying the zombie AI should be more aggressive, but smarter in the sense that they don't camp or wander into corners causing them to get stuck. Other than that the three hit mechanic seems fine as you could hit/down someone from across the map if your zombies are positioned well. Zombies basically counter wiggle outs and that alone is crazy. Whether or not these changes get made, we still have a fun killer to play.
-
I don't know what happened. The fps on Switch was actually good for once. Then the hotfix came. I thought the hotfix would actually FIX things, not make things worse.
-
This has happened to me very frequently on the Switch. Pretty much every game. I down a survivor, take them to a hook, doesn't work, they get away. This has cost me so many kills for people dead on hook and it basically ruins any chance of getting a kill during the endgame collapse. A hotfix is most certainly needed. Hopefully we'll see one soon enough.
