With the new update to Macmillan Estate would you say it's a Killer sided map now, or Survivor sided map?
The maps are all way too small in my opinion. Killer sided each and every one of them. The only exception is probably Lerys memorial institute. Too many dead zones on small maps. They really make it too easy for killers. I’m not saying this because i only think one sided about this game. It’s just facts. You can’t argue that any of these maps aren’t too small for how fast these killers are. Survivors at least need better hiding places. More bushes and maybe something else besides a locker like a closet if you’re in a house or Under the bed. Make the killer actually have to look in less obvious places. Right now it’s like “oh someone was working on this gen. Oh there’s one locker In this entire area let me open it. Surprise! You’re hooked”

Wait what? I mean i have no defense for mories, unless a team uses keys, but Killers being overpowered? Guess some ranks are different...??? I am honestly curios.... or maybe am i just unlucky to meet Squadettes too often. Could also be the ranking system... who knows.
They most definitely are overpowered by far. I see the difference when I play both sides. The maps are way too small and survivors are way too slow with such lack of hiding on a lot of these maps. Killers hardly have any setbacks. They swing and miss with such little cool down in before swinging again. There are way too many ways of keeping survivors suppressed so that they can’t do their job. It’s just there are more games where you’re going to be upset playing survivor than you will playing killer. Ez 3-4K every game.

How will you explain your way out of this? Not only is the blight serum bad on many of the killers, its also not usable after the event, while the survivor items are kept until used.

Killers don’t need anymore items add ons and offerings man. They’re so damn overpowered already it’s ridiculous. Survivors get slammed match after match. It’s not really balanced. Maps are so freaking small it’s almost too hard to do gens in most of these games. Killers are fast, down quickly and can Mori you after one hook? Man. Please complain more about the stuff killers don’t get. Match after match I’m lucky if I get to escape. Hell im lucky if I even get close to escaping. Camping and tunneling and what few chances survivors do have to win a chase only last for so long until you get found again because there so many dead zones.

it just seems like survivor side is getting slammed hard. Game after game I don’t find it to be any fun. Whether it’s a glitch that gets me where I get stuck when I hug walls or a lag spike that hits me at windows. Skill check dial placement when pushing the button or key seems inaccurate to me and generator regression for missed skill checks seems worse. Survivors just seem to get slammed every single game. Whenever I play killer it’s noticeably easier when you don’t have to rely on others. Plus killers have way too much given to them tbh. Abilities, add ons, Mori’s, maps shrunk awhile back which makes the fast/high mobility killers kind of too strong. There aren’t enough places to hide. Most often in this game you are always going to be out in the open with only a pallet or two around you at any given time. Game honestly seems unenjoyable from a survivor perspective. I didn’t realize I play a game where the maps are mostly unbalanced in their design to let you run from the killer for any extended period of time.

I just came out of a game as killer where the survivors hid the entire match and never did a single gen, so obviously they all got sacrificed. However, to get the win, I had to play a game that was very boring and over an hour long with only a "brutal killer" ranking to show for it. If I wanted to leave the match and move on, I would have been given a DC penalty. How cruel. (although, without DC penalties, matches have a problem of being ruined every other game)
This is far from the only time this has happened to me, and it happens as survivor too. The killer first kills two or three people. Then, repeatedly downs the last survivor(s) and picks them up and drops them until they are no longer downed, then downs them again. This is so the three minute bleed-out time lasts much, MUCH longer than three minutes.
Matches in DbD are usually 10 to 15 minutes, with the rare lengthy match being about 20 minutes. Endgame Collapse was an amazing step in the right direction (and is what got me back into DbD after a multi-year hiatus due to matches being 2+ hours without it), but we need a timer before then to prevent matches from being 30 minutes long.
My suggestion is that after the 30 minutes are up, the match simply ends, and no players in the match get bloodpoints and everyone de-pips and is given a matchmaking penalty. There is no way to tell who is doing the hostage taking, so scorched earth makes sense (even though I am fully aware it is HIGHLY abusable). In addition, players should be banned for repeatedly drawing matches out to 30 minutes and can be unbanned via manual review. This way, if people that are often targeted by harassment, like Twitch streamers, are repeatedly held hostage, they can appeal to BHVR and get unbanned.
Although, a less foolish option would to remove any and all DC penalties after a certain length of time passes. For example, in addition to the match ending at 30 minutes, you can DC at 20 minutes and keep bloodpoints and items you earned that match. Again, highly abusable, but better than the nothing we have right now. I just want to play the game, not run in circles for literal hours waiting for the 4 Claudettes to do a single gen.
You don’t realize or fail to consider the fact that the gens are way too close together to do them right? So what you just expect them to go out and die? This game needs to be fixed so Killers can’t just go from gen to gen so quickly. That’s a problem.
