Map offerings should be a ban of that realm. 0% chance to go there that match. Easiest fix in the entire history
Glad I read the comments before voting. I was going to say ban them entirely but I like this idea.
But also, it's not 100% chance of getting the map. One night I had 3 matches in a row I didn't get the map I put in the offering for. I didn't really care if I got the map or not, I was just trying to burn them to get them out of my inventory. But I felt like the unluckiest person in the world that my "significantly increased chance" of getting the map the offering was for didn't result in the map being used.

I normally play as a survivor but if the daily ritual wants me to kill, I kill. At least until I have the daily ritual completed and then return to survivor.
Today, I had to play as nurse. I absolutely suck at nurse. But today something happened while playing the meat packing map. I started out getting owned as usual but then a strange thing happened. I blinked and somehow passed through a wall. "Wow. That is some game glitch." But I tried it again and found I could repeat it at will. "How did I not know you could do this!?"
So as I am running around trying to find someone I can hear someone working on a generator on the other side of a wall. Perfect time to try out my new found ability. I figured I only had a 33% chance of the survivor being on the side of the generator I hoped they would be on and maybe I could slug them if, a BIG if, I could manage to land my blink where I hoped to. But if it didn't work, how much worse could it be than going around the wall and them taking off running as soon as they had seen me? So I gave it a try and, "Holy schnikey!! IT WORKED!" As soon as I passed through the wall I didn't slug her, I just plucked her off the generator and carried her to the nearest hook. I was so excited that worked better than I hoped that I think my family thought I was crazy.
This was followed by a bunch of missed blinks and accidentally discovering that not only can you pass through walls, but you can go through the floor as well. That sucked. But later I was chasing someone on the lower level that ran up the stairs and turned left. That had me thinking, "Well, if I can go through the floor that probably means I can go back up through the ceiling." So I took a guess where about he would be and blinked up through the ceiling and as luck would have it I appeared right next to him and hit him. Moments like that made me forget about all the failed blinks made in between.
I'm still a baby nurse but she just got a lot more interesting.

Deathslinger is a great killer to be up against. Don't run in straight lines or predictably. You have to find the killer's weaknesses. Every killer has weaknesses, including Deathslinger.

Sometimes when playing as survivor, if I'm the first or second out I'll observe the rest of the match. If I am impressed with the killer I will message them after and thank them for the game. I've found the killers that give hatch are the best to talk to.
As far as salt goes, it saddens me how many assume I am being sarcastic and think I am dissing them when I am trying to compliment. If I didn't enjoy the match I wouldn't bother talking. I would have moved on.
One time a killer was really controlling the match but helped the last get to the hatch. We chatted for a while after and he asked what player I was. I was playing as Bill. He said, "oh, you were going to die no matter what. I never let Bill live." I just laughed. If you are playing killer, you be the killer however you like.

You are saying if you reach second phase on first hook you can't win? Things don't go your way you quit?
I'm sorry you feel that way. I prefer to think if I lose, it was meant to be. But if I turn it around and escape, it feels much better than winning when the entire match went my way.

That's the game. Killer, even Freddy, is significantly harder than survivor. Think of it as a way of naturally creating that 4:1 ratio for the matchmaking.
Edit: I should clarify, a lot of people like to say that Solo Survivor is the hardest thing in DBD, but personally I don't call bench-pressing a house "hard."
I find solo surviving easier than playing killer. But I solo survive all the time.
But I also don't understand the appeal of looping. Especially for killers. Unless you can end the loop quickly, or it is the last survivor remaining, it seems to be in the killer's interest to move on and deal with that survivor later.

Why would that be toxic? It sounds like a legit strategy to me. I've come across a couple killers that seem to do just what you described.
The way I look at it, the killer can do whatever they want to get their job done. I normally play as a survivor and I like it when a killer does something unexpected, use a strategy I haven't seen before, etc. It keeps the game fresh.
You changed your strategy based on what you experienced survivors doing. That's perfect. It is exactly what you should be doing. Now it is up to the survivors to adapt to your new strategy. If they want to call you toxic, it's just their admittance to being unwilling or unable to adapt.
If the survivors or killers cannot adapt to each other, then that is a game balance issue for the developers to resolve. But unless using a cheat, exploit or just throwing the match, there is no such thing as, "you didn't behave how I wanted you to behave so you are toxic."

Play whatever killer you want. If the survivors don't like it, they can go play something else.
Yes, there are killer's I hate going up against, but it's part of the game. You need to learn to adapt to your opponent.
Anyone who has a problem with your choice of character and skills maybe doesn't enjoy the game as much as they think they do. It is they that needs to change something, not you.

People who think looping is the only thing in this game aren't really putting themselves in the game. When I play survivor, I play to survive. I help other survivors when I can. There have been matched I sacrificed myself to improve the odds of other players, but mostly, I'm just someone trying to survive after being dropped in the trial by the entity.
When I play killer, all I want is to kill as many as I can. If some is successfully looping me, they are waisting my time. Sure, they aren't doing generators, but up to 3 others are. So I will hunt them and go after the looper later.

The only tunneling I would have an issue with is a killer that deliberately ignores the other survivors. Others if the killer keeps running across the same survivor, it happens.
I feel the same about killers that stare at the survivor on the hook the entire time. Not the most efficient strategy and not what I like to do as killer. But I see it as a legit strategy and when I am the one on the hook I wish I could tell the others to let me hang and just do gens as I drag out my death as long as possible.
