I completely, absolutely, wholeheartedly disagree. I played him for the last two days and maxed him out already. Stopped using add-ons completely after I hit prestige 3 50 and I'm getting perfect game after perfect game after perfect game. He is a beast. If you think the maps are an issue then just take a second and realize when you can use your power and when you need to loop/M1. You bust em at the loop and cut them off when they try to run, avoid survivors hiding in large jungle gyms. Everyone keeps saying hes pinball killer, no this is wrong, he is a billiards/pool killer. Precise geometry shots. Furthermore, I think the blights token system works well with his power and it would be boring if every killer was the same.

Can you make a guide please? I enjoy him but I have trouble with maximizing his potential, and I can't really find a build other than the obvious corrupt intervention and so on. I'm sure lots of killer mains would appreciate it as he is a very difficult and new killer. Sincerely a fellow killer main.

Stop being negative...in a thread...where the title is literally a negative...

You must mean "stop disagreeing with me". In which case, no.

Maybe you should stop being negative. You made the negative thread, Captain Negativity.

    This^

  • Ok so I know where you are coming from but hear me out here. The blight is a rather mediocre killer and very difficult to play with these things in mine his ultra rates have to severely make up for the weakness in his hase power, and while compound 21 is extremely strong and as a killer main when I saw that in my web I had to have a double take, but after some time on the killer I think the add on is not as strong as I'm comparison to other killers I'm that mid tier setting, like the plague's ultra rare that allows vision on everyone sick, Which directly counters how you play around her in the traditional sense of staying sick to avoid corrupt purge, another could be the shape's tombstone piece/tombstone head (I think the piece is better but it's preference really) is also In this catagory. Idk it just seems like mediocre killers get the benefit of strong add ons, usually in the ultra rare sense, and the blight is just another number in this pattern, and frankly if that gets nerfed I want a general buff to the character as a whole, which I kind of want anyways as I'm having difficulty with him but I'm a bad executioner too although that killer is above mediocre, but my point being in short. He's bad so don't nerf him anymore. And yes I'm aware it's not fun to play against as a survivor I play survivor too. But so is ds but that's a separate issue and I just want to put my opinion on the topic, and make sure to take me with a grain of salt.

I've noticed similar things. I've been spun by console players a lot more than I ever have pc. Console players seem to enjoy the chase far more than pc players. PC guys will hammer out gens as fast as possible, ignoring healing and saves, then blame the killer for not pressuring better.

One thing the console guys need to stop doing is trying to 360 after being hit. PC killers can locate you, and then you wasted the sprint burst.

Overall, I love the cross play, I don't feel like I'm under a constant time crunch, and because of that, I don't use scummy tactics.

Hey I know u probably said this a while ago, but I really think you're on point here.

I have noticed the exact opposite. So far every killer from console (all rank 5 and 6 right after rank reset) played like they weree drunk or just installed the game, sorry but it is true. Missing all the time, respecting pallets, no mindgames at loops etc

I dont know how it is at purple, green, yellow or even brown ranks, but a on R1, console killer were not able to get anything done so far. MAYBE it was just cooincidence, i dont know, but for myself i see a trend.

If FPS or controller is the problem... i dont know, but something is wrong with console killer. No offense to anybody, but it felt like bully the killer.

Thanks for the input, that is kinda weird, I do notice of players will stay at pallets longer than console players as well, but (maybe not you of course) I think PC players actually are easier to mindgame as well this is most likely due to latency or something, and using a controller does not hinder me at all and the frame rate is not a huge issue a hit is usually still a hit regardless.

I am a PC survivor and played about 6 matches this AM, 2 PC killers and 4 Console killers. This is a small sample so I would not use today as an excuse to say "all" console or "all" pc. Today, all of the console killers camped and tunneled in their matches, the PC killers were much more diverse in working the actual objectives of the game like kicking gens, destroying pallets and engaging in chases.

I don't know if console killers can see post-game chat but I assume do not talk in it because it is cumbersome to use the onscreen keyboard and controller. So I was not able to communicate with any of these people in game.

I also noted that my fellow survivors who were console players were much more likely to run in for offhooks and such even with the hard camping occurring and then get downed themselves. Leading me to wonder if camping is so rampant on console that they are used to just barreling in because it ain't getting any better. With that being said I have encountered a decent amount of players still in double digits because you know match making is wonky, so it could be inexperience too. Just today's observations.

Most of this is true, and no we console plebs can't see the chat after game, and typing isn't all that cumbersome with controller, (at least for me) I would like to see it added to console.

Xbox players have spaces in their names. I’m not sure about Switch.

Really? I wasn't aware of that, I still would like to assume most of the people I play against are PC but maybe not after hearing this :/.

  • @Alice_pbg said:

how do you know they are on pc?

The Icon next to their name, but that could mean any platform I believe bit the real give aways are the names and way they move, as I stated PC players tend to take very sharp turns but if they have a space in their user name they are on PC, unless switch can do that but I don't believe so, plus I doubt that I am playing against more switch players than every other platform.

  • I actually just made a post about this if you want to see what I have to say.

  • As a console killer main, (I suppose platform doesn't really matter anymore) I don't mind playing against swf anymore than playing against random stack, and I will explain why. So randoms have a certain playstyle and mindset that they want to pip no matter what this will lead them to sacrificing their fellow players not literally but they won't play optimally for 4 people but instead play optimally for themselves which in the big picture is better for the killer, but on the other side swf, even three stacks survivors will often throw everything they have to save their friends this allows some killers to shine amazingly well, like The Executioner, The plague, leather face, or The shape (I'm sure there are more but that's the top of my head). I'm not saying that it's easier but as some killers I would prefer to play against a swf team. Now the elephant in the room is the communication, but you can actually use this to your advantage as if they receive bad information and relay it then all of them have this wrong info. A weak example could be playing doctor and making fake pallets and the survivors tell each other some pallets are left, but one more applicable to higher level play would be the perk dark devotion as the obsession after being hit may believe they are still being chased if line of sight is broken from killer and all that good stuff, feeding wrong info to the other three or two, of course this isn't the only example but it's the one I see work most in practice for myself. Anyways that's my 2 cents. Make sure to take it with a grain of salt.
