insta-saw isnt a free nothing, because unlike BNP insta-saw requires some skill. killers cant see profiles when on private so ure logic doesnt stack. nice try tho.

BNP has two difficult skill checks. Fail them both and you get only a 15% progression.

Dude, I've never seen ANYONE bring a green key in red ranks

You're still assuming things and throwing a game based on that assumption.

I'm not at red ranks but I do occasionally bring a green key with tokens, since I have them and several of my characters are already P3 so I can't really dispose of them and if they can be of some use and free a perk slot (Empathy or Bond) or make me see the killer's aura, I'll keep bringing green keys, whether I make red ranks or not.

Dear survivor bringing a key to a match please don't complain when I bring a ivory mori to kill you. You bring an item that let's you escape the match prematurely, I bring an offering that let's me kill you prematurely. Its a fair trade, so please don't complain

So you're saying you're going to intentionally make everyone, including yourself, get less BPs and EXP just because I brought a green key with tokens to see other people's auras, and nothing else? Ok buddy.

  • Couple of days ago I went into a match and got severe lag, I was actually thinking to myself that I was pretty much done since I was an easy target as I kept running into things and had really no control over my character. As luck would have it, Huntress finds me right away and starts a chase, with me barely being able to run where I wanted to. All of a sudden, the match ends and post game screen shows killer DC'd and now they're urging the other players to "report me because I was hacking", I say that I had very bad lag and they're like "sure buddy". Apparently, the lag was so bad that they saw me teleporting from one place to another. Like, I get how that looks bad from the killer's standpoint but the devs can't go around banning people based only on player reports and without evidence, so unless you're intentionally doing something that's against the rules and it shows, you're not getting banned just because someone reported you.

    I wasn't banned btw.

Bots would actually be a good idea, plus it would kinda be funny if somehow the survivors pissed off the bot ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

That would be something! And I mean, Left 4 Dead has been doing this since 2008 and you really don't see toxicity/balance issues. 12 years after and I'm sure the devs can pull it off, specially since there has been talk of survivor "husks" to counter DCs and there's already a killer bot in the tutorial.

  • Toxicity is only an issue because the other party is an actual sentient being that doesn't appreciate those antics. People will be people, no matter how much you police them, so the only way to soothe toxicity/balance issues is to separate survivor and killer matches and have people play against bots. A killer bot will not care no matter how much you teabag them and a survivor bot won't call you out for using pink items.

  • I have also thought of something along the lines of what you're saying, because having a survivor main sometimes gets boring, but the same could be said the other way around. You like a perk power but it's tied to a survivor skin that you may or may not like, and you stick to a certain survivor anyways.

Honestly, if you want survivors to be more than skins, you can just play each character using only their perks and general perks. I do that when I get bored of my main, so if I want to use a certain perk, I'll chose the character it came with and work on a build around their unique perks, some of those perks I might not like, so I adjust with general perks. This way I have a different play style and strategy for each character and makes it more dynamic I guess. And you can just go back to your fave survivor and equip whatever perks you want as well.

  • I had a bigger problem with the button mashing mostly because it's loud af but since you can change it to MW DN (mouse down) struggling is basically scrolling with the mouse wheel. Very quiet and 99.9% less annoying than repeatedly pressing a button.
